Unable to Autheticate

I think this is the first time and two years that I have posted on the STO Forums.. but I am unable to figure this one out.

I was in the middle of a mission and I crashed out. When I tried to log back in, the launcher says "Unable to Authenticate"

I sifted through the STO forums and found a lot of similar issues, some resolved, some not.

I guess my question is, is there a quick fix for this? I was about to uninstall and reinstall, but someone has posted that that had not worked for them....

Any assistance would be great.

    Suddenly having the same issue. No idea what is causing it. Just that the launcher hangs, computer gags hard, then says "Unable to authenticate".

    The server status light is green so it seems the server is up. I woke up this morning to try to login and have a quick session before a leave home, but get the same error message. At first I thought my internet is down but looks like it is something on Cryptic's side seeing that I am not alone.

    I tried launching thru STO launcher and thru Arc, same error message.

    I just filed a support ticket thru the web, hopfully this will be fixed soon.

    Update (8:27am PST) - looks like this is fixed. I am able to get in now.
