The PVP community is close to exhaling its last breath so if said PVP community wants to attract new players then THEY should change their attitude.
Remember that those who made the complaints do PVE where the occasional loudmouth also shows itself. For them to complaint about the general attitude of the PVP community means there is something terribly wrong and your response is only another example.
Then why are you here if you have nothing productive to add?
The PVP community, as a whole, has always been extremely small. It's certainly not what it was but to those of us who have spent the last 2 years trying to help the PVE/F2P community get into PVP... It's a slap in the face when arrogant TRIBBLE hats like yourself come here and troll our very small, almost out of breathe community.
And the larger portion of the community isn't bad. I don't judge the whole of the PVE community by the action of a few AFKers or mass rage-tellers. It would be nice if you would do the same.

Tbh, I could care less anymore. But, it's not on the players it's on the management choices to not invest anything in PvP for years now, introduce pay for power, no balance efforts, bad bug scrubbing, no discipline for exploiting known bugs, etc.
Really, if someone is offended by another's chat then put them on ignore. If they're offended by getting blown up quickly, that's on them and/or game design not other players.

I think I might have been too subtle in trying to make my point that the problem expressed with regard to PvP player attitude is largely a figment of the imagination. It does not exist to the extent that some people claim it does. Thus it would be difficult to change a behavior, which one has never manifested.

Right. I'm terribly wrong. I am the poster child of poor attitudes.
Perhaps you should consider the parable of the glass of water. One individual sees it as half-full. Another individual sees it as half-empty. Neither are wrong, yet both have focused on a different aspect of the same scenario.
With that in mind, do you think that it might be possible that poor attitudes are tolerated less in PvP, because of some emotional distress being experienced from having one's ship repeatedly blown up?
Shouldn't there be a guest blog "How not to behave like an a.. in PVP". From recent topics it should be abundantly clear that it's the attitude from PVP players which stop the inflow of new PVP player cold in its tracks.
Before such changes in attitude are achieved, any guest blogs regarding PVP are a waste of time and digital space.

Is there room for a Hitler reference yet, or is the thread still constructive? :P

I'll go one further than the others.

No stopping needed, although you might want to make sure you have some hard drive space available. :P
