Weapon Color Asthetics - Question

Today, I saw a ship using Cannons with a dark purple/dark violet hue to them. Knowing /powerhue is disabled and Polarons are not that dark of purple, does anyone know what weapons they might be?

    It was a player in a small escort ship in a The Cure 5 person mission. Didn't get a chance to ask them directly how they got those weapons and what type they were with such a unique color hue to them.

    Most likely Phased Polaron, from the Dominion Lock Box.

    If I recall, the Phased Polaron Beams are more like dark purple Phaser beams than Polaron ones. I imagine that the Cannon effects are the same.

    It could be the experimental Proton Weapon.
    Don't look silly... Don't call it the "Z-Store/Zen Store"...

    Nah, I have that for my Anti-Voth Vesta build. It's practically the same colour as the ground-based Dyson Rifle; light blue.

    Protonic Polaron.
    I would love to visit this star in-game...or maybe this one!

    Phased Polaron. I use them myself at times, they have the wonderfully dark purple hue to them.

    The wine colored ones are Phased Polaron.

    The new protonic polarons look pretty much like regular polaron, at least the beams do.
