Scheduled Maintenance - No Patch (December 27, 2013) [Complete!]

Hi Captains,

We will be bringing down Star Trek Online tomorrow, Friday, December 27th, at 7AM PST (click here to view in your timezone) for our weekly scheduled maintenance and to restart the server -- there are no patch notes as there is no new patch being applied, and we expect this maintenance to last for 2 hours. The test server, launcher and access to manage your account may also be unavailable during some portions of the maintenance.

    the devs are allowed to have the downtime and no patch, this is the first time without a patch in forever, all the whiners get over it, the dev team has been doing a fantasic job, yes there are some things i may not agree with but it is a game, as long as your having fun then the devs have done their job. Kudos to the dev team and everybody at cryptic.

    It is rare we have a scheduled weekly maintenance and no patch, and typically only happens a few times a year. A couple of those are around the year-end Holidays as we're out of the office :) Thanks for everyone's patience, understanding, and support!

    It's the holidays, the fact that y'all are in the office even performing maintence the day after christmas is still nice. I can live without a patch this week. Thanks devs!

    No patch? Really? Yay! My newly discovered exploits survive to create another seven days of chaos and disorder!

    Oh. Wait. I wasn't supposed to type that. Unh...Devs? Lord Branflakes? You guys know I was just kidding, right?

    Have fun! And please, please, listen to customer feedback re: season 9 and the next expansion. I know that pretty much my entire fleet, hundreds of players including dozens of LTS and gold players, will ragequit if we get a lib-borg faction. For reasons that I have already detailed, including but not limited to the certainty of the game being flooded with back-breakingly buxom Seven of Nine clones if said faction comes to pass.

    But that can wait. For now, enjoy your holidays! I'm going to be farming those last few days for my Breen Chel Grett and getting my Dyson space set to see how it performs.

    Liberated borgs ...how could they be a faction? They are no longer borg , so it would be weird.

    Also, Seven of Nine outfit is in the Cstore usable for all fed races with borgy parts. I just bought it for the cyborg bits.
    Let us wear Swimsuits on Foundry maps or bridges please! I would pay zen for that.

    I have been playing StarTrek online for over 2 years , befor iot was free to play so how long does it take untill I can post a message or complaint on a forum??? just to say this arc system seems like a load of loosers at their best I doesen`t seem to work ????

    I request a time and date for when I can post on a forum , It`s only right of you to inform clients of this huge privlege and honor to make a post if you have honor

    Seriously, downtime, with this many bugs in the game right now and no patch? Pick it up guys, this is getting ridiculous... I REALLY hope this has something to do with the lag spikes during the winter event and will fix something. If not, I'll add that to the list. Lets hope this fixes something....

    Lag spikes for me usually seem to occur when a server is running continuously without any kind of check up on it. We had no patches this week so they need to have a weekly check up, which should fix lag spikes. Always seems to work on my playgroup's minecraft server.

    Also, it should fix the latency times with the races and snowman event.

    After patch now all cannons get bugged, no crith, no critd, no procs, no acc, exaggerated power drain while using CSV and CRF :)
