If an NPC superior officer would task me to gather a PVP team comprised of the most strongest sickos out there, I would choose the following guys:
All of them are very team-minded, reliable and very cool-headed even in the most difficult situations. Even if some of them don't like each other that much, their combined professional attitudes would generate strong synergical effects. No matter what you bring against this group of people, chances are they will adapt and rip you up:
Yoda from TRH:
Versatile. Can act as team leader at any position. In addition for being one of the best target callers the game, his raw skill alone swung the outcome of tough matches in his teams favor on more than one occasion. Always friendly, never raises his voice, never looses his temper, he just pwns you.
MT from Pandas:
Versatile. Tremendous team leading capabilities. Probably the most deadly tac out there. Reads the game and adapts accordingly. If he is your opponent and you're don't have a plan to deal with him, you already lost.
Bieber from Pandas:
Team-minded. TOP3 support player in the game. If you have him as healer or sci, well it doesn't get better than that. Due to his experience he sees the flaws and weaknesses in the opposition and he will enable you to exploit them.
Snog from Nova Core:
Developed into one the most effective sci players that I've ever seen. Like no one else he understands that preparation is king. Give him a task, and he will execute it flawlessly. Since I was aware of his virtues, on several I asked to him join my teams, and he contributed severely to victories against even the strongest premades like TRH and Pandas.
That team wouldn't rely on just one target caller, since they are 3 of them present.
However I doubt that I'd fit in, for better balancing I'd put
Mira Theng from Inner Circle (as 3rd sci)
into that team. Since he doesn't post in the forums much and rarely engages in QQ in OPVP, in the eyes of some forum readers his name recognition may be not big than the aforementioned. However, PVP'ers who are/were part of premades worth their salt, know his name, since he took part in a lot of high profile premade matches. A TOP5 sci player, he definitely knows his craft and he severely contributed to the rise of IC as a PVP fleet.
Those five f***s also constitute one of the best players of the F2P-era IMO.
Good choices there Hank. Personally, I haven't played with Yoda so...... I'll take your word for it.
Is he counted as a current player anymore? Not seen him for a long time in the queues.
As a side note to calling, in Pandas we have 2 primaries depending on the situation and 1 secondary.
The primaries hand the baton so to speak depending on which one of the 2 is being focused. The third guy calls opportunities and other stuff not covered by primaries.
All sat in the same room for ease of communication.
Ok ok really, any of the forum posters that don't care/mind win or lose, to name some off the top of my head, VD, Pokersmith, Twam, rylanadianolysis, Naz, Ultimatum, Antonio...ya know what I'll pretty much fly with anyone if they're up for a laugh with the objective of not to win but to have fun while winning or losing.
I remain empathetic to the concerns of my community, but do me a favor and lay off the god damn name calling and petty remarks. It will get you nowhere.
I must admit, respect points to Trendy for laying down the law like that.
Hale, at least they'll be shooting someone other then me, also in the @wesleycrusher82, haven't seen him on kdf toons in ages.
brj, I came to PvP around the time Big Red Jedi was leaving iirc. Don't remember flying w/him.
Any others I haven't flown w/in ages or missed out on the 1st 8 months or so from game launch.
Edit: Opponent would be vs TSI w/no time limit match :P
Edit2: My bad missed the current players part.

well since we have to make a team with current players including ourselfs i would choose
Hank - Tac he knows how to call targets he finds solutions in the middle of the match and he is an awesome teamplayer
Yoda - Tac all i can say about him is that ive had some fights against him and he always standed out from the others even in defeat never had the pleasure of fighting with him but some times you have to be on the other side to know...
Snog - Sci probably one of the best sci out there... and is my wingman on my sci
Bieber - Sci ah well do i need to say anythign about this gentelman? awesome player... awesome healer
me? - Sci/engi - seeing this team i would be the weaktest link... i would rather put someone else on my spot, like shift but he is away from the game now
[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC] Federation :: Fleetless :: Klingon Jorge Silva - Tac | Nayja - Sci | Jorge E. Silva - Eng Jorge R. Silva - Tac (Romulan Fed) Nayja K Silva - Sci | Vurg'jah - Tac
Hmm.. a 5 man dream team... And I have to include my self? Hrm...
And it has to be some one who either has been posting, or has been active? Hrm Hrm...
I suddenly feel like I'm a team captian for kickball.. staring at a long line of people.. Hmm..
I don't think I could assemble such a team. Just can't really get a good feel of any good combination of personalities and/or balancing of ships. And then there is the Spike vs Balanced vs Debuff team stratigies that could be used.. Too many really good choices compared to my skill level. So I guess I'll just leave mine as is for now until a good team combination comes to mind.
You think that your beta test was bad?
Think about this: American Football has been in open beta for 144 years. ~Kotaku
Hmm... this is a tough one for me, as I pug all the time, and I constantly come across a mix of awesome folks as well as folks who honestly suck But not playing at the premade level very often, obviously coordination is lacking even among the awesome folks I meet. That said, there are a few people I regularly team up with... or have done a few times in the past to be honestly impressed by how well they time and coordinate their stuff without being asked for.
So here is my list-
1. SelenaG - as a sci healer/ target caller
2. Mr. Epohh - as a sci healer
3. Renim - as engi healer. That dood is a taaaaaaank
4. Kayla - tac wingman.
[System] Link has been on active duty for 415 days, 23 hours, 9 minutes, 16 seconds.
[System] Zelda has been on active duty for 126 days, 11 hours, 51 minutes, 48 seconds.
So the common Dream Team members so far are as follows based on general opinion:
Snog - Sci
Bieber - Sci
MT - Tac
Hank - Sci/Tac
Played with Bieber & MT regularly (Obviously), Hank on and off. I can see the common theme being accurate from my personal experience for them 3. I sense that Hank would be more efficient as a German team caller though and that's where you would see him shine.
Not played with Snog that much to be able to form a personal opinion. I would sub Mew in for Snog - Better the guy you know I guess......
Mew is good at pretty much everything and can be relied on as a team member to fill any requirements specified with short notice.
If I was going to definitely play tac, I would have Jorf there as a Sci in place of Mew as an all round sci. Pheo as a control sci. Killer was the go to guy for "TRIBBLE the enemy sci" but now I think the lack of rep let's him down at times sadly. A true example of power creep almost overtaking skill levels.
However, if I was to play sci, Fook would be right up there for me as a persistent escort. For being relatively new to the scene, he has really good battlefield awareness.
So the common Dream Team members so far are as follows based on general opinion:
Snog - Sci
Bieber - Sci
MT - Tac
Hank - Sci/Tac
I would enjoy a fight against them.
A fun team for me against that group

I cannot say I have any ultimate dream team. My all time favorite group has long left the game. However that was 2011 and PVP was a different beast then. I only wish half those guys didn't leave after Season 4. The rest followed between Season 5 and 7.
I enjoy teaming with lots of people pugging in a small group or doing private team matches. Privates are my favorite but those are rare as of late so the occasional pug groups have been EPIC and loads of fun lately. Not of all, of course, but at least a few.
Favorite guys to pug with

Anyway good to see some friendly banter in this thread. Hopefully there will be some TD style interfleet in near future.... Just an idea.
How would everyone know your in 6 month or 1 year category? Just getting to choose 5 is hard never mind adding a time element.
I understand where you are coming from, Naz, but I think it's a good idea. Try and include newer folks, including like BC graduates, other newcomers such as Mal and his buddies, etc.

That would be my team. All D'koras, all Ferengi toons (if the others were ok with that), and of course, we'd be called The Profiteers.
