Things, things that we need:
- a snow ball that is not consumed by use,
- skies
- its cold in the open we need something to put on the head,
- tea earl grey hot tribble,
- and lots of other white winter stuff.
I know we get some Winter DOff Assignments in QWW and the Academies via the Current Sector tab, but what about a contact in QWW that you can get Winter DOff assignment from (Besides the 'eh-po' researcher)? (Hey, there's an idea; Medical Winter DOff assignment "Treat Minor Case of Frostbite"...)
Winter Wonderland melee weapons - let us fight the Snowmen using their own wooden bat'leths...

We have some fun events to do do but I believe we need more events. Enough to last an hour non stop without repeating the same event and have a couple left undone. Add gift boxes for event participation as the prize, inside each is various ornaments, and the random items that we get from the winter invasion or epohh tags.
1. Downhill skiing for epohh tags. Yup grab a pair of skis and some poles and ride them down hill. Set flags up along the course red and blue and make it a slalom course. The more flags you get the more tags you get. get all the flags and you get a purple ql gift box, miss one or 2 and you get a blue one, miss 5 and green. white for participating. This is NOT a race against other players. Add skis that you can purchase, 1 makes you go faster, 1 improves turn, 1 improve both but more turn, last improves both but more speed. white ql rentals and green, blue, or purple purchase.
2. Ice skating race. Make a looped race course around the skiing mountain. Don a pair of skates and race other players. purple gift box for first place, blue for second, green for third, white for everyone else.
3. Scavengar hunt. Q hid various ornaments all throughout the Winter Wonderland and challenges you to find them all. Use the ornaments we have. Scatter them throughout the map and you have a timer going to find them all. maybe 10 minutes and 48 locations. You have to find 4 of each type but they are random in each location.
4. A dance floor like in the summer event. Just not a half hour long event. maybe 15 minutes but can be completed in 10. Same rewards as the pie eating contest but more of them.. allot more. New dance emote and accolade for completeing a certain number of times
5. Eggnog/warnog drinking and run a short curvy ice track contest. Drink 6 eggnog/warnog and attempt to go down the track. the drinks are alcoholic for the fun factor of the track. When doing the track rolling or jumping increase the slippery factor and it starts at twice the slide of the lake already. this one is timed and solo or teamed. teamed first to cross the finish wins the top prize, solo must get past the end in a certain amount of time for each prize box. Course is Like Lombard Street in San Franciso in turns but steep sides, you slide up one side you will be sliding up another and easily lose control and go backwards if you slide up the wrong corner.
6. Gingerbread catching on the/a lake. Have 50 mini gingerbread men running around really fast with sharp cornering abilities and extra slippery ice for the player. Talk to an NPC and get the mission to catch as many as you can compared to everyone esle. Preferably it's own lake rather than the central one. Always 50 of the lil buggers on the map. Catch the most in 5 minutes and you win. purple to white prize boxes for ranking.
7. PvP with snowballs. Make an arena with 2 snowforts and piles of snowballs about the place. 5v5 or 10v10 maps. team with the most freezes wins. if you get frozen you have a 15 second immunity and double powered snowballs to prevent "spawn" campers. 15 minute event with unlimited freezes. Starts with NO snowballs and you get 10 at a time. You must have 0 snowballs to get more, this will make the snowball piles strategic points. When you pickup the snowballs they are equipped automaticaly and have no bearing on the normal ones from outside the event. Once finished you enter the center of the arena to pick up your prize, drinks and dancing once you pick it up.
I think those would make for some fun additions to what we have and will have alternatives for epohh's for those who are not capable of competing in the race we have.

I would like a space component. Fighting some type of snowman ship would be great fun.
How about something like CCE but without tholians and the Crystaline entity is a giant snowman chucking snowballs at us and small snowmen where the tholians were? our weapons become extra large snowballs for torps, 2 medium snowballs for dual heavy cannons and a stream of small snowballs for beams. Instead of blowing up when health reaches zero we freeze up for a few seconds.
Cmon It's Q! He can make it happen!
But then we would need the ultimute weapon universal console... "The yellow Snow Snowball". Creates a high yield snowball +30% snow damage and 100% gross factor.

I'd love to see a "Snow Battlezone" like the Dyson Sphere ground battlezone, but in the Gingerbread/snowman theme. I'd totally play that. If it was done well enough... And gave good rewards, etc.
I'd also love it if we could beam in our away teams. 2 or all 4. To the battle zone (all 4?) OR to the regular zone (2)? It would be cool to have your away team to help you. Though you'd have to equip them with snowballs or they'd have to have the smarts to gather their own? Or they'd have to just come equipped with snowballs (maybe not even taking up a device slot, so you could give them an actual "snow weapon" like 'blower or a flurry).
Okay, you guys threw in an adapted quantum mortar (snowball mortar).
How about an adapted Force Field dome shaped like an Igloo, with blue rather than orange color, and with Igloo squarish ice cube block design rather than the current hexagonal shimmer?
I'd totally go for that as a purchaseable reward in the Winter Event tore. Especially if it worked like a regular dome in normal play, but still with the Igloo shape, texture & color scheme?
Perhaps even with an extra % damage reduction against cold damage (useful against Breen?)... Perhaps Breen might try to invade Q's winter zones / battlezones (or he might throw them in as enemies)? Makes sense given their love of cold...

A "snow flake" version of the Crystalline catastrophe? The Crystalline Entity is a giant snow flake, maybe sheds flying snow men, which when shot break up into flying snowballs. Use some kind of sophisticated "heat weapons" to fight them? Sheeit, I dunno, Just making stuff up.
I want to see hats! Hats hats hats. Frosty's silk hat. Elf hat. Santa hat. Turban (head-warmer; honestly want one for my Pika'Lo character)?
Would kind of like to see boots too. Elf shoes, santa boots.
Wouldn't mind seeing an elf costume and a Santa costume. Maybe a winter cape? White, or even colorable?
Maybe some Frosty, Elf, Santa scarves too (candy-cane striped?).
Also, could we have a "custom-colorable" "generic" "winter log/short/cropped jacket." It's niec to have pre-set single-color items, but I'd love the ability to have the same "design" but be able to color it myself (perhaps with several areas "colorable" as needed, primary + secondary + accents?). I wouldn't might paying SLIGHTLY more holiday items for the "customizable" version. Especially if it was an account-wide unlock.
Maybe even some kind of "winter set" (shield, armor, weapon) that give some kind of "winter set bonuses" against snowmen [& Breen, so they're useful outside the WW event]?
But, yeah, want some more Christmassy costume options (unlocked, preferably account wide? but maybe only usable from like Halloween through New Year? Or all year, I guess I don't care if people run around as Santa or Elves all year.)...
And did I mention HATS? Because, hats. We totally need hats! (This goes generally for the formal wear set too, we need some tophats, ten gallon hats, etc.)
Although it might be hard to automate, I thin it would be amusing to have an emote or a new stance "Brr" be automatically applied (while in Q's Wonderland) if the character isn't dressed warmly enough. So, like, Orions wearing the Risque bra, or women wearing mini skirts. I just think it would be funny if they switched to "Brr!" stance (similar to Creature, but with arms crossed, occasionally rubbing their arms to try to stay warm). But only if visuals on other set pieces are disabled. Clerly, if they're wearing armor or an environmental suit (visibly) they shouldn't be shivering. But, if visuals are turned off and they're showing considerable skin, they should go into "Brr!" mode. MAYBE with an option to somehow disable the emote / stance?
Ohh, and I think that, like in the Battlezones, there should be roaming "mini-bosses" that occasionally spawn somewhere on the map (with accolades for killing them all). Yetis, larger snowmen (assimilated Frosty??), etc.
I don't think they should come into the command center though...
And defeating them should yield winter consumables and/or trade-in items for the "store."
As it currently exists, he Winter Tribble is a real pain in the hindquarters. It gets in your inventory, eats all your specialty winter items, can't be traded, can't be sold, can't be given away, can't be recycled. It's irritating.
I think it should be able to be given away or sold on the exchange, just like Cryo tribbles. But... I also think it should also be tradeable in the Winter Event Store for other items. I'm thinking it should trade straight across for like 2 each sleigh bells & gratitude bead (4 items total), or more of the "common" items like candles, earmuffs, etc. I mean, if you're going to take the time and go through the aggravation of finding recipes, creating the stuff and then having it all EATEN by your tribbles, you should get something USEFUL out of it on the other end, rather than having an inventory cluttered with useless items you can't use, sell, trade, turn in, recycle, etc. If they could be used as a commodity, that would be kind of cool. And if they could be sold on the exchange AND used to trade in for winter commodities like gratitude beads & sleight bells, that would help inflate their value, so they're not just like 10 e.c. like Cryo tribbles. ;o)
As it stands, I've just been "discarding them down to 1" every day 'cause they're useless to me.
Things, things that we need:
A snow ball that is not consumed by use
1000% ^^ 1000% THAT ^^
When I bought the "unmelting" snowball I originally thought it was a PERMANENT item. Y'know "unmelting." Permanent? It was a reasonable asumption. Sadly not so. It would be nice to get a "self-replicating snowball" (like the minefield by the DS9 wormhole to the Gamma Quadrant) you could use outside the WW zones. Not unlike the cryo grenade, just without the uber-irritation of being slowed / frozen (unless you actually kill someone with it, and then you just "freeze"/"hold" them so they don't have to respawn). Just limit/eliminate griefing in missions & stuff.
A bigger lake to skate on. Maybe a mission where you have to do some jumps/tricks for judges or something.
Yeah, I was thinking something similar. There should be some kind of lake "skating" event (requires equipped frosted boots to unlock / participate in), where you can use your flips and tricks, or just generally "jump" over obstacles, jump through hoops, and such. The more things you successfully complete (within some time limit), the better your payout #'s / rarity at the end?
And it would be cool if there was just a "skate park" to go have fun at (ramps, half pipes, etc.). The skating "jumps" are pretty cool, just feels like we need a better venue to use them at. Some kind of skate park would be cool. If there were some kind of skate / trick competition (perhaps rewarding new "tricks" as you level up or do more competitions, thus giving better scores as you use more trick types, etc.), that could be neat too. Not especially Star Trek. But it's sometimes fun just to goof off and have fun. I actually did find myself goofing off quite a bit with "trick jumping" on the lake, when I was bored between events.
Snowballs in weapon slots so that they can be used just like regular weapons.
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

More 'Winter Clothing' options besides just jackets and scarfs... or at least something besides just pallette-swapped jackets and scarfs.
How about a 'fur-trimmed' coat? With all the fur the Klingons wear anyway, I know they'd go for it.
Or a 'Holographic Imager' that makes your ship look like a Sleigh for one hour (consumable.) or your character look like a snowman?

^Words that every player should keep in mind, especially whenever there's a problem with the game...
The effort was appreciated...it's just the same things that makes many leave the game is prevalent during the event. Cutting in line, unclear and frustrating questing.
For example I was in the middle of a pack of people. And yet only those of us in the CENTER of the pack "failed" the races by leaving the race track...everyone else who was on the OUTSIDE succeeded.
Not asking for bumper guards...but for example laying out what leaving the track actually means (see racers routinely cutting over the hilltops and somehow never "leaving" the track) would be helpful.
