I didnt say it was a big deal, just kind of ticks me off that this seems to happen a lot when i've just aquired something.

Well, they did say in the patch notes that most people won't even be able to tell the difference in damage. So it's not so much a nerf as balancing the already absurd amounts of damage the winter weapons do :)

Some snow weapons were clearly superior to others. The big one was nearly useless, while hail was very powerful. That's just balancing.

I'm waiting to see if it really is any different based on Borticus' notes.

They don't really feel different. Still 1 shot kill on the primary shot. Looks like they reworked the HP/DMG numbers to make them lower.

I bought the big one on the first day, and never thought it was useless. The secondary fire one-shots groups of snowmen if they're close enough together. I've managed to get up to 5 doing this. I'll admit that the primary fire should be stronger though, especially for being a pulsewave. It should kill snowmen in two shots instead of three. (It has horible range, so this would be fair.)

If it follows the pulsewave weapon to a key, than the closer you get the closer it does to maximum damage potential.

It's clearly a massive deal that a weapon that you can only use in one place, during a little over one month a year, against enemies which don't pose any threat, got mildly nerfed.

Snowblower got a nerfbuff to it's secondary. Increased damage for the trade of only being able to hit 6 targets (max) as opposed to 12.

I figure all of the winter weapons are much of a muchness.

I do rather enjoy the sight of my gorn with the twin pistols though.

And frankly, given that they all pretty much annihilate snowmen quick enough, looking cool is most of the point.

So it's not a really big deal, just a big enough deal that it requires its own QQ thread to call attention to what a big deal it isn't. Got it.

I just want to be able to free-fire (FPS mode) them anywhere, instead of being limited to the Winter zone. :(

I'll never notice it since i've never hit 12 snowmen at once.
