Well, looks like the non-fleet wings/pylons look good, so when I get rid of the new 'shiny metallic look' material (that's been ticking me off in the screens) and use a good looking material, it will look like a good klingon vessel. And since I expect the Avenger Boff layout and stats (with cloak), I'm sold on it.
On the other hand: Careful with all the plating. It's already disgusting on new FED ships, don't go over the top even on KDF ones (thankfully, they have a more rugged look by default, so the Mogh is still acceptable).
TOIVA, Toi Vaxx, Toia Vix, Toveg, T'vritha, To Vrax: Bring in the Allegiance class. Toi'Va, Ti'vath, Toivia, Ty'Vris, Tia Vex, Toi'Virth: Add Tier 6 KDF Carrier and Raider. Tae'Va, T'Vaya, To'Var, Tevra, T'Vira, To'Vrak: Give us Asylums for Romulans.

This ship is the test to see if Cryptics efforts to bolster the KDF have brought them the potential to be profitable. If they lose money on this as they have claimed they have on other ships/zen store items for the KDF I would wager this could be the last investments Cryptic makes specifically in Klingons.
Yeah that is why its important with this ship even though the KDF numbers are up from what they were during the bortas it will have to be bought by the majority of the KDF or we most likely won't see any more ships.

I think the team did a great job with the appearance of this ship. There's no doubt that it's a Klingon design. Looking forward to adding it to my collection. :cool:

Nope it doesn't need one lol plus only romulans get battle cruisers basically that get a battle cloak otherwise its either a bird of prey or vet kdf ship.
Edit: If we were to get as many ppl to *howl* as they did for the d'deridex to get its boff layout the way it is... then this ship could get a battle cloak lol but I doubt that will happen because there is no feedback thread on this ship/it said just regular battle cloak when it was leaked last week.
Its looking good so far, I will wait to see the 3D of it to see all angles. I plan on getting it, however it will be towards the back of the line. Since other ships are ahead of it. Due to the order they came out, and which one I want more. So it can wait a little bit before I buy it. I still have the Avenger to buy, and another Romulan ship first.

I am torn with the art. I love the saucer section and an armored appearance is nice. However, there is something about the hull that doesn't seem to mesh in my eyes.
I appreciate new materials though. I hope there are some more customization options. To me the Bortas and birok are the most gorgeous ships in game. I would love more like it.
A Klingon version of the Battle Cruiser?! Hell yeah! I like the design, except maybe the nacelles that are a bit shaved off at the front. I can't wait to see the details for what the new weapon it. If it's on the level of the multi-warhead torpedo, then I'll be impressed.
Could you give us an option to un-exaggerate this in the ship tailor? Cause it's by far the worst thing about this ship. I quite like the overall silhouette, but all those poinless additions around the hull make it look ugly, almost Lego-like.
This is my feeling. I know you're trying to make this pug ugly, no no-nonsense fighting ship that's built to break stuff (I basically imagine the Avenger as the A-10 Warthog of Starfleet: ugly as sin and made of big guns). But Klingon ships are already all built to kick TRIBBLE and take names, because they're Klingons. Kicking TRIBBLE and Taking Names are the first two things on a Klingon's day planner every morning. The gribbly, random armor plates don't really help make it look meaner, just makes it look like it's got random gribbly bits on it that serve no function except to break up the lines.

The Avenger is a solid ship, if this one is as good as that or even a copy I think I'll get plenty of use out of it.
Then don't. Put it in Drydock for a while and take it out every so often to stay in practice with it.
