As much as I love Dorn, a good director makes or breaks a performance. Most, if not all of Dorn's dialogue is straight up flat. If you hadn't been so busy fangirling over him, you might have caught it and actually given him direction...motivation...feeling, something!
I'm actually against the voice overs in game. Most of them are just atrocious. Micheal Dorn, Leonard Nimoy, Zachary Quinto, and Chase Masterson are the only real talents you've had. All other voice-overs are either: a no talent hack who left trek because she didn't like how one dimensional her character was, only to come back begging for work after finding nothing but TRIBBLE roles and devs trying to out-ham Shatner. AND SUCCEEDING. Please, less VOs. At least until you can get more Trek talent and a decent voice director. I'd suggest Andrea Romano, but I doubt she's in you're pay-grade.

While I'm not majorly bothered with MD's work, I am very very happy to see Cryptic being pro-KDF! The Mogh being (re)-released for endgame, and an event to nudge players into finally trying the Klink faction if they haven't already is a really good idea!

A top-of-the line new Battlecruiser. Revised Raider mechanics that are, near as anything, KDF-only. Extra Dorn VOs. And a free BoP for new alts.
Any one of these things, you could write off as a pacifier to the KDF Grognards. But all together and all at once? This is actually looking quite positive. Perhaps PWE's marketers feel the KDF is the most under-exploited element of the game after eight months of Romulan saturation. Anyway it's all good!

As of a recent patch, there are bits and pieces here and there, but the only VO at S8 launch from Mr. Dorn was Sphere of Influence. The complete VO for the other Klingon content he is in is scheduled to go live this week.

On a serious note, anything that puts a smile on a fellow STO players' face is a good thing. Just because some players have zero interest in playing another faction doesn't mean they should complain when a different playerbase gets some attention.
