I've a strange bug that I cannot find any mention of anyone else having..
Since Day 1 of the new Crystalline Catastrophe event, the Entity and it's shards have been completely invisible to me. For the first several days the entity itself was targetable, but graphically appeared as "lens flare" with no model. After a patch, it continued being modeless, but changed to a series of soft "sparkles", still no model.
When the entity actually dies, there's a split second I can see the model. That's it.
I just finished the event anyway, and got the Crystalline pet. It has the same issue! It appears as merely a model-less purple cloud.
My drivers are all up to date. My computer is happy running the game at maximum settings. I will not reinstall the entire game for the billionth time just to fix one model.
If this is a file corruption bug, does anyone out there know what .hogg or whatever the crystalline entity is inside? Would be nice to find a way to actually see what I'm fighting.
