I went to Drozana Station to do 'Spin the Wheel' to get my 15 lobi for the day and saw some players standing around the bank. They had what looked like Voth Antiproton Blast Assault weapons drawn and there was a charge up animation and a large electrical explosion.
This caused the screen to shake......over and over and over and over..........you get the point. They were just standing there doing whatever it was with the weapons constantly. Non-stop. The screen even shook when I was in the cargo room clicking consoles for the mission.
Really very annoying. I switched to zone 2 (only other instance available at the time) that showed it had only 6 players. Well there was a player in that zone too doing it. (this player had a gorn head and human hands
)

I don't own that particular weapon since I don't care for blast assaults, so I haven't done any testing to find out exactly what they are doing. My guess is they are using the secondary fire mode. I have a Voth Antiproton Full Auto Rifle and wasn't able to shoot it or anything, so I think it's only being done with the blast assaults and that is the only weapon I saw the animation coming from.
*Side note: I found out a few days ago I couldn't use my bio-thermal dampener to throw at players on Drozana Station and I assume it was because players were annoyed with it at one time so Cryptic disabled it in that map.

To be honest, I was not at all annoyed by it the first time because it is Drozana, and that is what Drozana does. What got me annoyed was when these people were still doing it 6 HOURS LATER! I mean really, do they honestly have no life and fire those things off ALL DAY?

Not sure there's a solution for that other than sticking to single player games.
These were "real" players - I sent a pm to one of them and get an answer like "we are protecting you ..."
Hell - that was annoying.....childish as well...
It is Voth Antiproton Shocktrooper Cannon form Lobi store.
They fire 3-mode - Electro-Magnetic Pulse, and since 3 mode button is available in all ground weapons in non-combat maps, it is not a bug.
But it so annoying, entire Drozana station is shaking after firing, i cant understand that guys that are just standing there for hours and firing the gun, like nobody else can afford 50 lobi gun
Ahh. I wasn't sure what weapon it is. It looked like a blast assault. Well it doesn't seem to do any damage to other players but it is really annoying.
Thank you! A couple weeks ago I looked all over the game options to find that so I could shut it off. Guess I missed it in that tab. (Hopefully that makes it so my friggen ship doesn't shake left and right constantly in space combat when I'm being attacked and turning. It's annoying and looks stupid.)
O you are my hero
Thank you for making drozana a safer place for us to do our compulsory daily lobi run
keep up the good work
I for one applaud the fine and upstanding engineers that have fashioned these fine weapons that are able to bypass the security protocols of Drozana and allow it's citizens and regulars to keep us safe.
Prior to the development of this weapon, I was terrified at the prospect of stepping my Gorn feet onto the filthy and slimy floors of Drozana. While the unusual white substances and sticky nature of the floors and table tops still give me pause, I feel safer now from the constant threat of Devidian attacks while I attend my duties on drozana.
If I may offer any suggestions, it is to the engineers of Starfleet and the Klingon Defense Force and Romulan Militia (Devs) to keep producing these powerful weapons to keep us all safe from the real threats that plague our home.
Live long and prosper and may the Gorn be with you!
