The team and I wanted to let you all know about some important information about the Foundry and the release of Season 8.
Currently, while we republish all missions made prior to today, access to the Foundry Editor is off. The ability to play missions will remain available, and you will see more missions populate the Journal as the automatic republish process continues. Shortly after the republish process is complete, we will allow access to the Foundry Editor again. Also, the ability to review missions will be temporarily disabled for a short amount of time.
We hope to have editing and reviewing back up very shortly, and will provide updates in this thread as they become available. Also, we will be delaying the next Spotlight on the Foundry for a couple weeks.
Will any of our data be affected? meaning if i have a mission i published or was about to publish will i be able to withdraw it or publish it after you finish and i have access to edit again?
It should automatically republish, and the data should not be affected. But I'd run through it yourself as soon as you can to make sure nothing broke. LOR destroyed a bunch of missions that used particular maps. I've been fortunate enough to avoid that with "Bait and Switch" but I have a couple unrelated bugs to fix, and there's some minimap objective markers that are out of position (fortunately, I have physical objects to back them up).

That's a derivative of the rule that back in EQ we used to call the "anti-camp radius." i.e. if you were closer than a certain distance to where the mob you are waiting for spawns... it wont spawn!
The corollary, of course, being the death that immediately results when it spawns while you've gone afk for 30 seconds to pee...

That's quite the paradox, how could you nerf nerf when the nerf is nerfed. But how would the nerf be nerfed when the nerf is nerfed? This allows the nerf not to be nerfed since the nerf is nerfed? But if the nerf isn't nerfed, it could still nerf nerfs. But as soon as the nerf is nerfed, the nerf power is lost. So paradoxally it the nerf nerf lost its nerf, while it's still nerfed, which cannot be because the nerf was unable to nerf.

Irony is I came back to regular play for the Foundry FE "Purity" but I postponed completing it it after all episodes were published... for caution :rolleyes:
Hope they will be republished before December the 5... :P

Mine came back up first day and I checked immediately. Only thing wrong is that a few "go here" minimap objective markers are out of position, which, fortunately I put blinker objects in during one of my recent patches. Maybe a manual republish will fix it (I've got some unrelated trigger bugs to fix anyway).

I have a lot of problems in this game, and I am not only one in my fleet that have this problems.
1. I have problems with foundry missions.
When I want to start one, or want to cross from one foundry map to next game crashes. I want to know why is that going on, and will that going to be fixed?
2. When I do *Tour the universe* map goes crazy, my char becomes white, system becomes white,Inventory shows only numbers not icons.
3. In Battlezone game crashes.
4. When I press *E* when I am in sector space when map is on my ship does not start to move, only map zoom in. And when I look Galaxy map it does not show where I am anymore (it does not have that dot like there was before). When I am in Sirius Sector block that arrow for going to other Blocks are upside down. Many people want that back as it was before.

So I was working on my first foundry mission that I had a Stephen King moment with before season 8 went live. Will I be able to continue working on that mission when the foundry returns or will I have to start over? And, how close is the foundry to being reopened (looking for something different than soon )
