Why do you make it so tedious to discharge/buy new ships?

Whenever you Discharge or buy new ships, it messes up all the hotkeys for all my existing ships. I then have to slot all the skills on the hotbars. It's a pain in the a-s and really makes me not want to BUY new ships.

    Mostly I see this happen when obtaining and discharging Shuttle Crafts too. . . Messes with any and all my current settings on my current ship. . .

    It also happens a lot when switching avaliable starships, switching to a shuttle after changing tray powers on a starship ... and whenever the server feels like it's had a bad, respectively. I usually avoid switching ships at all because of this.

    And yes, it also means I buy less ships than I probably would. I don't really see the point in buying content when using it is a nuisance.

    Speaking of which, this tray/power bug (as I call it) is the reason why I cannot enjoy playing around with the free ships IE; Risian corvette, Obelisk. I have read here earlier that having more than four ships + a shuttle bugs a ships tray settings and boff set up. . . I dare not touch the other ships until this gets a fix.

    I hate when setting a new ship up all the powers are already in the try, and none of it is where I want it so I have to spend time going through each tab on the tray removing all powers then setting it up for scratch

    Hit 'P' to bring up your powers window. This is everything activateable that your ship has on it, from PC powers to devices. Then you can arrange them however you want without digging through the trays.

    You're missing the point, I know how to re-slot powers, the point is you shouldn't have all your ships powers/skills positions ERASED and then having all possible skills just dumped randomly into any available hotkey slots when discharging or buying a new ship. It's RIDICULOUS.
