Dyson Joint Command Commendation bug? *Resolved!*

As I understand it: "This asset is earned by completing your first daily mission each day in the Solanae Dyson Sphere."
So I completed the daily mission "Contested Zone" given by Commander Kaol and did not receive the Dyson Joint Command Commendation asset.
I'm not quite sure exactly when or what actually gives the commendation because nothing in-game seems to clearly indicate how and where you get them.

Same problem here. This happened to me last night on one of my Fed toons.
Yes, there seems to be a lot of confusion on this subject. See next.
I was told the same thing in Zone chat, however I finished Contested Zone in a KDF toon then in another Fed toon and they both got the Commendation, so is hard to tell where's the bug coming from.

i tried that mission on that particular toon before my rep-project had finished and once after it had finished. no commendation. and nope... i won't do it a 5th time today ;D
maybe the timer is not 20h, but 24h, just a guess
Not Sure what's going on.. I have the same problem on Fed Main Character I can not get the the Dyson Joint Command Commendation. I ran 6 different missions and never received the reward. Also I agree nothing points to a do this to get the reward.
I am having visions of the last season release all over again. My main fed toon caught in a transport beam up problem for days..
I hope this got fixed in last nights patch.. Will checking in a couple of hours.. What a disappointment. To have the same nightmares again.
EDIT: okay, I get it now. The quests in the contested zone don't work. It really has to be explained what counts as a daylie here.
I am not get any for anything I run, on my fed toons, I will check both KDF and Rommy later today.. Its going to make the new reputation system far worse me.
What does once a day mean?
- 20h cd?
- 24h cd?
- Resets with the daily dilithium limit? (would explain my problem. Got the token around 2am / reset was at 1am / cd ended later at 10pm but didn't reward anything
Guess that rules that one out then......
Have you ever picked up a daily and dropped it later? I did that in the allied zone and it's pretty much the last option that could have been "influenced" by myself.
Maybe...not sure what counts as a "daily" versus just a random mission though.

Still Nothing on the Fed Side, I can not get the reward.. My KDF and Rommy KDF were both able to get the commendation. Can someone let us this issue is being addressed.

Managed to get 1 commendation from Battlezone.
Have not seen that mission again. 24hr+ since completion at time of posting.
Warped into the Allied Zone from the jouret system.
Managed to see one quest that offered a commendation.
Did not take it. I believe it was called Allied Zone (Daily).
Wanted to see if BattleZone commendation mission was up.
Was not.
Beamed out. No quest available in the Contested Zone. Did not have button to hail command for any such quests.
Travelled to Allied Zone.
All available quest offered marks.
Allied Zone(daily) rewards now changed to show its rewards as offering 50 marks and 960 dilithium ore. No commendation.
The Dyson sphere is nice Cryptic but I kind of want to progress in my rep too... 150 xp every 20 hours is not exactly very fast.
Edit: The daily mission Does reward a commendation after completion, but it doesnt show up in the acceptance rewards list.
- Refined 0 dillithium (that one was expected)
- Used 1 commendation point (or something similar)
The latter one was really weird and unexpected because I had none. Maybe it was some relic from the first project I started, I don't know. But it looked like something that blocked me from receiving new ones got out of the way so I got curious and gave Breach a shot. Great mission btw. At the end I received a commendation point for it again. So maybe the patch fixed something I don't know. I'll keep you posted if I can get another one tomorrow.
I don't know if it matters, but I did complete my T1 Upgrade about 15mins earlier.
ETA: Ok, I just completed Allied Zone (Daily) and I did get 1x Dyson Joint Command Commendation.
