3 Minute lag every time I log on

This started happening a couple days ago.
Every time I log into Star Trek Online, I'm greeted by a 3-5 minute lag.
I usually get 5 - 10 frames during this lag.

Any suggestions on how to fix this?

    Me and a Buddy have been having the issue as well, might be a steam thing, I don't really know, I have found somewhat of a solution however, when you get in, either transwarp or warp up to your ship, that seems to fix it for me, hopefully we get a patch soon so it gets fixed, but for now, transwarping or warping out of a area fixes it for me

    I have this issue also, it stops when I go to a new zone, only problem is if my ship isn't right near a thing its impossible with the low frame rate. so yesterday I actually had to go to the task manager and force shut down sto, then it was better when I logged back in.
