Scheduled Maintenance (November 7, 2013) [Complete!]

Hi Captains,

We will be bringing down Star Trek Online tomorrow, Thursday, November 7th, at 7AM PST (click here to view in your timezone) for maintenance and to apply a new patch. Patch notes can be found here, and we expect this maintenance to last for 2 hours. The test server, launcher and access to manage your account may also be unavailable during some portions of the maintenance.

    No general server stability updates this time? You'll actually need those for S8, or we'll have to wait for your emergency maintenance.

    FYI The Launcher is showing as 7-9 PM PST not AM.

    The launcher says 7 to 10 PM not AM. Just letting you know, the LAUNCHER says PM.

    Hey, while we are at it with the Obelisk bridge.

    Can we have the console that is in the mission there at the Captain's Seat and more of our Bridge Officers present on the Bridge? It is a rather large bridge and we can certainly fit all of them in there.

    Good glad my captain can sit in the chair since its provided. And some of the outfits will be fixed at some point in the future.

    Funny thing is a lot of players didn't even realize KDF had such costume problems until they got so bad with this FE.

    kdf has been up in arms since avenger was released
    if they had a big jump from 18% to 50 then they would spend more time polishing the KDF
    complaing won't get get bugs fixed or more ships just ask the foundry

    i have come to realize KDF is is a bunch of crybabies

    Just to clarify....what I meant by the console on the bridge is the one shown in the cutscene where you and the rest of the party are discussing what to do once you get on the ship and assigned stations. It's missing and I felt it was a good part of the design.

    I hope this patch fixes the constant CTD that I'm having.

    Even if it only makes them happen, less often...

    Are you sure they didn't start the maintenance anyway? been trying to play since 7pm and getting constant disconnects... Like I can stay connected for less than a minute, get kicked off, log back in for a few seconds, log back in, repeat.

    Managed to stay on during "Sphere of Influence", until the last color-matching minigame part where I would only stay logged in for a few seconds at a time, log back in (during the middle of mission/ship fight), until I finally logged back in and the NPCs managed to finish without me in the final fight.

    These disconnects are absolutely out of control. I've read people having issues since last week, but I've been playing without issue until tonight.

    while i appreciate all the hard work being put into the game i admit to getting a bit irritated with the tailor bug ive had for 3 months sent bug reports and no sign of a fix so i said i shall wait months on and finally people are getting the same problem which means the problem wont be ignored! however if its not this weeks fix it wont be next week which is understandable due to a large release

    I appreciate the hard work just the tailor bug is just a annoyance and i rather not have to resort to just one uniform slot to use for the next 2 months

    The case will be thrown out on a technicality...you need lawyers, not lawers.

    Yeah my KDF tac lost her Honour guard helmet costume somehow there, and my engineer orion got her bodyglove exchanged for a bikini.

    Maybe she wanted to show off to Worf XD
    Let us wear Swimsuits on Foundry maps or bridges please! I would pay zen for that.

    This coming from a fed, whom has complain, as an app for STO. Or should i say most feds. Oh our beam boats do not do enough dps, Oh the klingons escorts kill us to easily, we want cloaking ships, we want this , we want that. please nurf klingon stuff so they cant kill me as much. Bla bla bla. :P

    It is not the klingon factions fault that for the most part we know how to build ships that again for the most part can kick feddie butt. lol.;)

    Our weekly scheduled maintenance has begun! We expect downtime to last for 2 hours and I will post again once it is complete. Thanks!

    2 hour patch time so that we can sit in a chair that isn't even that comfortable..

    When you pay for costume slots and they are broken, you are allowed to cry about it. When you buy costumes and they are broken, you are allowed to cry about it. People want what they pay for. That's allowable I think.

    Length of patch notes does not correlate to how long maintenance takes. Maintenance includes more than applying the patch.

    at least this is a 2 hour maintance not longer today. btw when will the blogs for new lockbox be out brandon?
