hi guys tomorrow i will reach tier 5 on my omega reputation and since i don't have that many dilithium or omega marks i was wondering which set should i take first for my star cruiser, not the fleet one, and also one other question i have taken the obelisk carrier and i have put on it the 2 piece set for the mission reward and the aegis set and i have an ability called shield capacitor, where does it come from cause i haven't seen any of the 2 sets equipped saying that they give this ability.
I got good news for you: Reaching T5, will give you a small handful of resources like dil, ec and so on...
Personally I am a big fan of the Borg Deflector+Engine and Adapted MACO shield.
Good bonus, good strength... I really hate going into too much detail, since I am not that good at the math behind it, but I've tested a load of different variations, and this one is the best I've tried.
Don't look silly... Don't call it the "Z-Store/Zen Store"...

I typically use the 3-piece borg set on my cruisers unless there's something specific about the build that would favor another set. The individual pieces arent great, good turn rate on the engine, good regen on the shield, but the 2- and 3-piece set bonuses are awesome for tanks, and the 3-piece also gives a tractor beam that is very handy and effective.
The shield cap is from the warp core. Its basically a shield battery, but it has a really long cool-down, so it kind of gets in the way for me.
Here's a good trick: Use tabbed browsing in whatever browser you use, or better yet multiple browser windows, to compare the various pieces side by side.
I'm getting 3-piece MACO for my Fleet Avenger.

@OP, if you have little shield heals. Go all borg. If you don't have the leech. Go 2p borg and maco shield. If you have the plasmonic leech. Go 2p borg and elite fleet resb shield
MACO and leech don't work in tandem. You would loose the power bonus from one to the other. Since leech also drains power from the enemy, leech is better. However, Plasmonic leech is very, VERY expensive.

I think it's the warp core bonus
