I bought some Zen a few days ago. 3300 to be precise. When I tryed to buy again yesterday, it only states: You have excceded the maximun number of fail attempts. And the transaction cannot be completed at this time. I tried this a few times, thinking something must be very wrong! But, same message every time. Today, when I look at my bankstatement. I have to withdraws from yesterday! But skrill told me it did not accept my transfer. Nor have I gotten any of the Zen. So, two withdrawls from my accout yesterday, but no Zen as of yet. And I have no transactions pending. HELP!

I have had issues in the past with skrill not accepting perfectly good payment transactions. The exceeding maximum attempts is usually from them not accepting your transactions and after 3 attempts they put a block up for I think 24 hours to prevent in some odd situation someone else is trying to use your account to make a purchase. It also tend to cause the zen you purchased to also go into a pending state, and sometimes isn't issued until the pending time frame is over. Best I can say is pass it by PWE account support.

Hmmm. But I have no transactions pending. And I did not even get to the end of the payment transaction, before Skrill told me "No". So I did not get to the stage where I had to authorize my bank to send over the money. And two days ago this worked just fine. But yesterday i got nowhere. And how could skrill withdraw money from my accout when they said to me that they could not complete the transacton, and even did not get permission from my bank to do it. There is an extra step with swedish banks where you need to log in on your bank via an external box to get these codes to tell my bank that this is okay. That step comes after the entry of the CVV code. But there skrill stopped me dead in my tracks.... Am I making any sence at all?? Hehe.

Submit a ticket to the PWE support team.

When I was bought a Lifetime, I think my Dad occidentally bought 2, and PWE thankfully refunded him the difference. (And it was one of the best B-day presents EVA!)
Hopefully I'll come back from my break; this break is fun; I play intellectual games.

I strongly advise you, for future payment, to use Steam or paypal. With steam, you pay through steam, and if there is a problem, you can ask for a refund, to steam, and they'll deal with PWE themselves. Paypal is pretty much the same.

I tend to prefer pay pal, steam I guess would be alright to although I hate middle man companies such as those, but so long as they retain a good track record than so be it.

Trust me, I hate steam for a lot of reasons. But stealing money is not the reason why I hate them. The only big problem with steam is you "loose" zen if you buy with them. You don't have the free "bonus" zen for every purchase.

Yes they would be a last choice for me than, they no doubtfully do it to make some small profit for handling transactions for PWE. I have seen companies that offer these services so as to make money.

Here is an update. My bank says the money is drawn.
PWE sais to contact Skrill, sence they cannot and do not get any information from Skrill (moneybrookers) regarding transactions that for some reason do not reach them. And Skrill is saying that they have a long responsetime due to a high number of tickets.

So.... Think I?ll hold up upon buying more Zen for a while. Spent quite alot the past two months, and wanted to buy atleast 3300 more, when this was cleared up... but now... it seems like there is a GIANT hole in the system that can devour money without a trace.

    So sad.... :(

I have already spoken with my bank. Everything appears to be on order at their End, so the payment is valid. They say that is up to the Company in question to correct anything out of the ordinary. And since Skrill still haven't answered my tickets, I Think i must come to the s?d conclusion that i've been had. This is really bad of them, beacouse in the End it's Cryptic that is the victim. PWE is passing me on to skrill, and they are just totally quiet. If anybody at Cryptic happens to read this, please help me. I'm a Long Long say from you guys and cannot do much m?te from my End here in Sweden.

I would say GET IT SORTED OUT PRONTO ... (GL) . Maybe try and raise it with your equivalent of the financial ombudsman This is the UK version, of which I know is for the UK, but since Skrill is a UK company ... may be worth a shot. Like I may have said, if there is an equivalent in your country, go for it! .

I would NOT wait, if I was in your shoes.

Contact your bank as soon as humanly possible. Take any and ALL documentation you have in your possession (bank statement, messages from skrill support, the works).

Your bank has a ton of resources at their disposal, and can get this cleared up immediately.

Best to go in person, and go over this with your bank manager.

    Remember, DO NOT wait.

ONE OTHER THING: Isn't there a Transaction History on your Skrill account? I'd print off a copy of that as well. Screen-shot it or something, then print it off.
If no payments were received, yet they're charging you, well...you get the idea
I am not a Mod. I am just a player. You have been informed

the single best way to buy zen is via paysafecard really

its instant, save, and usually you get paysafecards at gas stations everywhere, at least thats how it is here in germany

you also dont need to give someone your bank account data or stuff like that, you just pay for the card and thats that. Only thing to look out for is to buy paysafecards in a way that you get the right amount for the steam purchases since the cards are only available at 10, 20, 30 EUR asf.

10 EUR works fine or the 50 EUR ones

You need to submit ticket to the billing department and find out what is going on, posting in the forum can't really help you, beside the advice of this wonderful community.

if you used your bank account you have to wait a couple of days for the transaction to clear or not clear and inquire at the bank. If its a pending transaction they usually can't help you.

From my experience though if the payment processor said the transaction failed I am willing to bet you will get the money back in your account it could take as little as 1 day and as much as 14 days depending on what country you are in and what bank you use.

You can also combine multiple paysafecards at once as far as i know.
