Department Heads keep resetting

My Dept Heads are resetting every time I zone/change toon/log on. My FO will be whomever and then 3 Boffs hold the other 6 slots, they are doubled up. I have reset them back to the correct Dept Heads but they reset to whomever when I zone ect ect.

I noticed the Boffs on the bridge were missing a while back and made a thread about them, but I did not notice the Dept Heads being messed up until tonight.

Anyway not sure if this is a known bug.

    This has been going on since the start of LoR, and appeared tied to the "Boffs that go AWOL leaving your ship partially or wholly boffless" issue. They claimed this issue was far back as the Tribble for LoR, then they said they fixed it, then they reverted it back to broken.

    You are correct. As far back as closed beta for LoR (I had an invite).

    The workaround is to set all ship stations to 'none', including shuttle/fighter, and all away team slots to security (fed), bekk (KDF), or ulhan (romulan), then reassign all of them. It will stay fixed for good unless you enter any map that requires you take 1 or more boffs for an away team, such as new romulus, nimbus iii, or story episodes, or if you go to a ship selector and switch ships. After reassigning your away team and boff stations you can reassign your doff department heads. Going on 5 months since LoR released and it's really getting annoying.

    P.S. If you want to switch out even 1 boff in a ship station or your away team, you might as well empty everything and reassign them all again or the problem will start again.

    There is no magic voodoo cure, since it happens, apparently for no apparently discernable cause, without any particular user action that precipitates or fixes it. It just comes and goes on its own. It's probably some kind of weird database timing issue, and the game deletes information when it doesn't come back fast enough instead of preserving the settings.
