Posted my story. Tried to do something a bit different, and not too sure how it's turned out. Wanted to have a major question mark at the end - might pick it up in another challenge.
I'm sure people will be able to deduce precisely what's happened if they've ever watched DS9.

@noraak - Welcome to the forums! Interesting stuff there. I'd love to see a First Contact report on your Aquatican species.
@hawke89305092 - Great story, nice drama. The ? bug is distracting, but the story was very enjoyable. (I type in notepad and then copy to MS Word for editing.)
@drajora - an excellent tale to start the adventures of the USS Rampart! I am very much looking forward to seeing this continue in later LCs.

My entry is here. It is set a few days after the standalone story called "One Last Chance." As usual, I had to find a reason to make the LC topic a minor item in my entry.
It's been a while since I posted here. The real world and a bit of routine change have kept me away...now on to last-minute reviews/comments:
@ wonvertu - when do we learn more about the harem?
@ mitch658058 - this is a decent interim report, but without the follow-up it's not all that catching.
@ livingston4 - did you steal mitch658058's idea?
@ chivalrybean - that sounds like something a brother would do to me. This sentence:
Despite all his training on the second day when we were under way, he outright told me to my face to do something other than I had just ordered.
Should it say this?

@ sander233 - I've clearly missed a lot of events, but this was interesting to read even without knowing the larger context.

Just when I think Yair can't sink any lower!!! Love it I trust Isabella's going to revert to her maiden name again  And as for ch'Raul... What a pimp! I'd love to know what he actually requested the performance submissions about, and how his research goes
I really enjoyed this entry, mostly because of Lee's absence from it The characters were all compelling and well written, it was a fantastic piece
@chivalrybean: A short story which shows that ties of blood do not supersede the orders of a superior officer. This has much potential to be spun into a more complex tale regarding the relationship between the brothers.
@wraithshadow13: Much is to be done about the Geist's resident super soldier, Wraith, as a fight on Drozana Station puts his crewmates' lives at risk. A few twists and turns and a good amount of exposition makes this story an engaging one to read.
@sander233: A very emotional read of a young officer in a brig and the circumstances that put him in it being described throughout the rest of the story. This will keep you riveted to the story until the finale and perhaps even past that.
@admirala1: A mystery on board USS Cardassia Prime, where the captain of the vessel must determine why one of his officers would betray him; this story has the potential to develop into a larger story in a later LC.
@danqueller: A saboteur rocks the vessel Nor'vesa and Commander Rycho must determine why. This is a gripping story hearkening back to pre-Legacy of Romulus Romulans raising many questions for future stories as to the true allegiances of the accused.
@masopw: Loyalty to one's captain and duty to Starfleet are brought to the forefront in this interplay between a captain and his officer over what is right versus what is correct, a subtle yet important distinction; this story is a splendid read which asks hard questions and answers them masterfully.
@marcusdkane: A history of First Contact with the Pentaxians, and a good read for setting up the rest of Pentaxian stories. This is an intriguing read for those looking at first contact stories.
@jonsills: A clash of cultures leads to a confrontation between the officers of the USS Bedford; The interplay between the two participants gives a look into the deeper relationship between the two.
@noraak: A ship's captain has to determine whether or not the captain's spouse is responsible for deadly events on an away mission; this was a fine short story.
@hawke89305092: What would cause a Klingon to end up in her ship's brig? This story seeks to answer that by delving into the workings of the Klingon command structure on a ship burdened with the conflict of obedience vs. free will. (note: If you're typing the LC in Word, you may want to copy the script from Notepad because the forum doesn't seem to recognize Word-based apostrophes.
@drajora: Something is amiss when the chief engineer of the USS Rampart is accused of murder. An exciting mystery where nothing is as it seems and where layers of subtext can be expected.
@superhombre777: An meeting between two bridge officers which becomes a flurry of intimate emotions, this was an enjoyable read.
@cmdrscarlet: There are many ways for a Starfleet officer to get tossed in the brig; this story uses the prompt in a novel way by creating a trespass serious enough to warrant a visit to the brig without resorting to an over the top story.

Awesome entry, a nice change that it was something procedural, rather than a more criminal act, requiring a trip to the Guest Suite
