This ship is their OP carrot they dangle in front of us when we don't spend enough mo... I mean, if we play less between content.
The Fleet Support Duty Officer Pack has been retired for several months now and is no longer available for purchase from the C-Store. The only pack that is part of this promotion is the Romulan Survivor Duty Officer Pack.
The text on this pack in the C-Store ("Bonus! From August 29....") incorrectly mentions the Fleet Support pack. I've let the team know and they will get this updated, but if you open any old Fleet Support packs, you will not see any bonus from this promotion.

The Zen store details CLEARLY state that the JHAS is in the
FLEET SUPPORT DUTY OFFICER PACK
I mean cummon really? I would ask for some sort of compensation for the packs of those I bought before you forum post thanks to that blatant oversight by your team, but that has about a 0% chance of being taken seriously and is generally seen as borderline begging. Even though compensating ec costs PWE/Cryptic exactly 0$ or Pounds or whatever real currency.
At the very least fix this ASAP

Now how about actually fixing it? Fleet support packs are still on the exchange and no reason you "might" not do a promo in them if it clearly states you are.]

I have bought a D'Deredex. An Escort Carrier. Some out fit thingies. They were all "You buy it. Period. 100%. "
If I buy keys, it's to sell them on the exchange and buy something there, 100%.
I will never touch a lock box.
I wish there was an option to "turn them off" so I didn't accidentally loot them into my inventory.
Now, I just save em up, and discard them as a stack, instead though.
For that matter, when you goto recycle inventory [alot faster], they don't show up. Meaning you have to delete them manually. I don't mind being enticed to open them, but these little sneaky maneuvers do.

Cryptic is killing my nerves. After i payed 27 Euro for 3300 ZEN and open 24 lockboxes yesterday...now there is a chance to get the jem hadar ship again.
I will stop playing this game...to be a jem hadar is my life and cryptic ruined my life.

Have you not heard the wild rumors?? The next faction could be a Cardi/Dominion/true way faction - you could play a Cardi or Jem Hadar or even maybe a Founder!!
Wild rumor - just a wild rumor!! I have no inside knowledge - although it would probably be the hotest faction to hit the game after the Romulans!

It does say in the description in the C store about fleet support, but there is no way to buy the fleet support pack since it is not sold anymore. So I am not sure how you "bought" the wrong thing. Probably a typo from last promo.
Is this just talking about the Attack ship for the drednought? Or is it something else it's a little vague for me.
Now I just laugh at those who gave everything and got nothing but junk and have nowhere to store it.

it says that in order to have attack ship carrier pets you need the jem'hadar attack ship on that character and that those carrier pets will only work in the jem'hadar dreadnaught carrier.

A helpful hint its always the current doff pack that promos run on. The Romulan survivor pack has been out for awhile now. It sucks you dumped a ton of EC on the other packs just resell them back on the exchange they will still sell because they have a chance at some really good doffs. Next time read the forum post for info on the packs not the C-store because the store is almost always last to get the updated text. you have a 100% chance of Not getting a refund for EC from Cryptic just live and learn. Again sorry you had to learn the hard way and I agree with you you should get refunded for their mistake in text but we both know it wont happen.

Please give us a toggle so we can turn them off from loot!
First off, I didn't advise Brandon to have a word battle with disagreeing posters. Secondly, I bought said packs BEFORE anything was on forums about it and the only [incorrect] info was noted at the top of the Survivor Packs. Finally, an STO player should not have to "double check on the forums to be sure". I don't really care about the refund either, just wanted to point out they never compensate for their mistakes even though it's free way to make 'happy customers'.
For example: In my case, a little personal note in my mailbox "Sorry for the bork up, here's 50mil ec for your trouble." and I'd be all over the forums about how well they treated me. OFC everyone would try and jump on the train because STO has it's share of grifters and flat out scammers. But even if they were totally ignored, the precident was set. They actually care and here's why/what Branflakes did this one time at least. Now, i don't really care about 50mil ec as much as others might and indeed "if" I do not open the packs, I can probably get it all back eventually. But as it is, I didn't even get a "Sorry [-_-]", just something saying "It's a typo, deal-wif-it" more or less. A little generosity goes a long way. In fact, don't give me nothing, find someone else who lost something in the forums and compensate THEM 50mil with that note. Tons of people lost oodles of loot when mails got deleted. Surely they are more deserving than I. But nay, I expect none of this to actually take place.
How you white knights can defend even blatant Dev error is beyond me. But again, I did not come here to have a word battle with disagreeing posters. It's at time like this I start to understand why issues posted to forums are largely ignored. I truly wonder if you would be so understanding if you saw an ad in real life only to find out after you buy the item it does not contain what was advertised whilst other's tell you it's your fault. No, I seriously doubt you would be.
And the real kicker is the typo is still there. Perhaps it requires a patch to be fixed therefore borderline too much work for the result?
