Well, I don't know if this is an issue with my computer or with the game or some combination of such, but yeah.
I recently adjusted the game's brightness settings, and now whenever I play the game, everything has a pale blue-ness to it. I tried adjusting the settings to what they were originally, but it the blue hue remained.
Also, the colors are normal when the game is in windowed mode (and I, say, click on my Start bar so the game isn't totally up front), but when I actually go back to playing the game, the hue returns.
Blah. I dunno how to explain it further. :x
And also, this is the computer/laptop I have, if the information there helps:

And I would have posted a screenshot, but whenever I paste the screenshot into MS Paint, the colors in it are normal.

Right now, I'm starting to open up various other games to see if the same issue occurs (it doesn't in Sins of a Solar Empire or The Sims 3-- loading up Neverwinter right now). From there, I'll probably uninstall and reinstall STO and see if the issue remains.
I'm really hoping it's not a video card issue, or at least not an issue that would require money to fix.

The hue didn't occur with Neverwinter either, so if the issue isn't resolved after I've finished reinstalling STO, I guess I'll have to fiddle with stuff in my laptop.
Kinda afraid that I'll make the situation worse, though. :v
So, I've once again reinstalled it. I don't feel like adjusting them again only to have to wait five hours to once again reinstall/update the game. :v
Ah, well. I wish I had a more permanent fix to this issue beyond "don't **** with the brightness settings anymore," but eh. :P
