rescuing small fleets

small fleets put the letters (HoBo) at the end of your fleet name and receive free base invites.

The House of Beautiful wishes to make your base building wait free. What do ya think? after you reach tier 5 take off the (HoBo) and your on your own.

    I think this is pathetic.

    So Dental got to you huh?

    It's not a bad idea in principle, but it would never fly because all these small fleets still have access to the public channel and get to retain their individuality and autonomy as a fleet.

    Basically you're very late to the party.

    This is like when my Parents divorced and were fighting and bribing me with stuff to love one more while talking trash about the other.... I miss those days I got the best stuff:D

    Lucky you, I just got abuse about why I shouldn't love the other and how the other one was superior to the former, which I wouldn't realise until I had my own failed marriage. Lovely thing to wish for your Child that.

    Thanks for the offer, but I think small fleets rather have Cryptic actually help them than grovel at the feet of some Tier 5 fleet, begging for a piece of candy. ;)

    This is all well and good an idea in theory, but it bears painfully few details and has all the marks of a poorly cooked up gimmick.

    How do you intend to make base building wait free? By donating free mats and needed stuff to a fleet's projects? That's the only thing I can think of that would really help a fleet progress expediently. More details would surely be welcome.

    Personally I don't care what fleet decides to, I would accept any helpful donations, but I won't consider my fleet inferior in any way because of it.. The choice to give is theirs after all, just because they decide to help out a fleet, does not mean the fleet being helped is any less. On the contrary, it becomes special by receiving the attention of others for its well being.

    I support the idea, but as far as a clear-cut plan, I don't see one. And until I do, I'll take it as any other hype, with a grain of salt.

    No need for insults, much less without any provocation.

    But then, I fail to see how this is any different from the free base access provided on certain public channels - except for the need to rename the fleets who want to have it.

    This seems like a rather desperate, and pathetic, plea for relevance and attention after your meltdown and the catastrophic failure of HOBO as a fleet.

    I think people would rather wait or get their Fleet Holding items no-strings-attached from another fleet than suggest that they revere HOBO in any sort of manner. Nevermind the absurdity of pretending your sad, sad little fleet is deserving of such deferment to.

    You really should edit the OP to try and hide this latest in a long line of shameful outbursts and reconsider your life choices.

    Join "NoP Public Service" for free fleet equipment KDF side. Including Elite Fleet Disruptors and Pets. Must bring your own dil/fleet credits/provisions.

    this is not my idea. my idea involved a small fleet being able to have an alt on hobo to base-invite at will, and it was supposed to happen a month ago. we were supposed to underscore the promotional horsepower a small fleet would enjoy by having such an arrangement in place.
    unfortunately, we were thrown into an ego-driven civil war instead of taking care of business. a civil war that resulted in our t5 access to hobo being cut off. yet another opportunity for hobo lost.

    ..and please stop using random alts to post carelessly worded and ill-thought out announcements. use a main and post with authority. if you need somebody to fill that void i suggest @startrekn3rd. he was an awesome communicator for 7th kdf.

    here is the revised proposal i presented to Z 24 hours ago.

    Asking people to rename their fleets to get access to T5 resources is a bit much, IMO. Messing with a fleet's identity is not a 'rescue'.

    I'd rather plod along with our own meager resources. If my fleet members choose to wrangle invites to other fleets' starbases in order to use fleet provisions, I have no issue with that.

    Sometimes it's about more than 'getting stuff'.

    Yeah, this is pretty disgusting.

    SD, NoP, HoBO, RA - these fleets have serious mental health issues at the top of the chain of command. It is so shameful how these fleets get virtual boners from virtual power tripping and virtual self importance.

    Shame on all of you.

    As community moderator you are supposed to be natural in all matters and you are not supposed to post any opinions. This proves that you are not a good community moderator and should resign asap.

    If I were in tier 1 or 2 fleet with 50 members of which 2 or 3 are on at any one time instead of die out, id take the offer and have the best ship, pets, and gear in the game. My recruitment would say that I had tier 5 base access. I think it's a good idea and in spite all of your despite the program will go forward.

    Don't you mean 'neutral'? Besides, moderator or not the guy is allowed to express an opinion, and frankly I agree with him. You can provide free access to stuff without making fleets change their identity, you could learn a lot from Nerds of Prey.

    You mean there are people who actually care that much? I run a fleet. its fun. I like progressing through building things and say, "Hey, look what we did!"... But what is the point of trying to "spread your power" to other fleets?

    Maybe if they change fleet rules and allow fleet wars, mergers and joint sharing of resources and operations, THEN having allied fleets would make sense. Until then, there is no point trying to get your name on other fleets.

    And if you see alot of associated HoBo's running around in pvp's blowing you up please realize that the ships, gear, or pets they use were given freely. I want the name HoBo to run the universe.

    IMO most T5 Fleets are full of hot air and self importance. I would never pay to go visit another Fleet Store, the idea is ludicrous!

    I think its much more rewarding when players that are fully T5 geared go to smaller Fleets and help them level. Ultimately then the players get something to do again, It benefits the smaller Fleets.

    Remember, if you want some T5 gear and don't want to pay anything, just join the channel NoP Public Service and ask for a base invite. You'll get a free invite. Anyone charging in that channel will be banned.

    Well if "riyott" was banned - and he created "notriyott" he is circumventing a Ban by the community mod - I don't think that will go over as being - humorous.
