Fullscreen dispay issue after 8/1 patch

After today's patch full screen (2560x1440) mode is displaying horizontaly compressed with about 3" of unused screen on each side on a 27" monitor. In the video options the size appears to be correct with 2560x1440 selected. It will display correctly in windowed mode but that is another issue.   Hardware I7 ib, GTX680, 32gb ram, Samsung 830ssd's.
  
  No issues on any other game today and never had a problem with sto till today.

  
  Yeah, I encountered this issue myself...as such, I have contented myself with only maximizing the window!

  Ive always had this issue :P Stuck on playing windowed-maximised instead

  I have also encountered this issue recently and must use windowed-maximised which compromises performance.
