What the Gorn truly need....(joke/serious)

The Gorn are one of the best races in STO, yet they feel lacking in some major way. Could it be the lack of awesome NPC's.........nah we have Ambassador S'tass. Could it be the lack of a bonified Gorn warship equal to the Federation's newest ships, perhaps.

So what do the Gorn really need to be complete?

The ability for Gorn players to throw rocks at their opponents in ground based missions! This elusive epic ability is being used by myriads of lesser Gorn NPC's to hinder the path of many players, so why can't Gorn players use it? Imagine throwing massive rocks at Manus in Infected Ground or even at the Borg Queen herself. Got Tholian Project Leader problems? Squash them with a rock! Where do you get a massive slab of rock in a Starbase, who cares its Star Trek Online!

This campaign has been brought to you buy the Gorn Rock Throwing Association of Deep Space Nine. We will rock you!

(On a more serious note, I would love to have this ability for the heck of it, or even an emote)

And if you're in a place with no rocks handy, like a starbase: pick up tables, consoles deckplates, smaller lifeforms, whatever.

I'd love to see species specific kits:

    Gorn Kit XI

Charge 3 - like lunge, but a flying clothesline!
Rock Throw 3 - Lob a huge rock/lump of debris (pure 100% kinetic, but with a huge aoe)
Thermal overdrive 3 - Using a gorns cold blood, the thermal regulators used on colder planets are modified, allowing energy/heat energy (such enemy/allied exothermic, plasma) to overheat the blood, allowing an increase in movement speed and physical damage
Bite 3 - Bite - Normal bite, or applies a 30% cooldown bonus to the trait bite
Fury 3 - Temorarily ignores all damage, disabling the shield - but as soon as the ability enters cooldown however, the damage from all attacks made on the gorn is applied in one lump value
Aptitude 3- Gorn - using the gorns natural aptitude, applies a 6% increase in science, engineering and tecnically proficient tactical abilities (such as weapon enhancement, ect)

..a kit designed for a race, equippable as any profession

I wonder what happens when Gorn use these boulders on each other...does it only work against those who've been resting in the sun for more than an hour?
Otherwise the rockslinger might run the risk of the boulder coming straight back home...

Being that the Gorn are apparently pretty advanced and scientific in this iteration of Trek (the Gorn ships we can use are all science/support), my suggestion to make them more awesome and also give the KDF a more competitive option versus the Vesta was

Didn't seem to gather much interest.

Gorn need ships based around plasma torps. Based on other (SFB anyone?) products it would be awesome if gorn had smaller, rapid fire plama torps, with a lower global cool down rate. No cloak.

"I fire hundred point of plasma. You die."

Course, at the same time, I could ask for a Kzinti (ooops, ferasean) missle cruiser that can launch "missiles" that function more like pets or the bio-neural torps. Course, to realy do it jsutice, they need to be able to get 15+ airborne at any given time. :D

The only invasion the Gorn suffered was a Klingon Invasion Force under a fabricated pretense. There has been no "Udine invasion or any resemblance of an invasion force from the Udine".

We have our homeworld to ourselves already. The Klingons granted us self-rule in exchange for fealty. Did you not get that memo?

I just want to be able to throw things at people I don't like, that's all.

And I want my bulk/physique sliders back.

did you get that from sulu, starfleet?

For the sake of argument, let's say there really was a "Udine invasion" of the Gorn Homworld, and the KDF is duty bound to eliminate the Udine menace , therefore, the KDF got rid of them. Why are the Klingons still occupying the Gorn homeworld after securing the planet? Secondly, if there was a Udine invasion, why is the KDF unable to provide convincing evidences to the Federation knowing full well that if the threat is real, there is absolutely no chance that the Federation will sit there and do nothing? The fact the two can cooperate on a proven threat - the Borg - is proof enough that if the Udine threat was real, there was no reason the two couldn't work together like the Omega Task Force vis-?-vis the Borg.

I see a major logic failure here. Federation Council concluded after careful consideration the Udine threat is nothing but an exaggerated excuse to invade the Gorn, which is tried & true tactics used by virtually every single invader - planting evidence, make up an excuse, then use disproportional amount of force. Did you know Hitler justified invasion of Poland by claiming the Poles attacked and occupied a German radio station at the border when in fact it was entirely staged by the TRIBBLE? Furthermore, Deltan and Betazoid members of the Federation Council also confirmed the Klingon envoy was untruthful in his delivery even though the Federation is unsure what exactly the Empire is trying to hide.

If there was ever going to be peace again, the KDF must withdraw from its unjustified occupation of the Gorn homeworld. To this end, the Gorn has a major role to play as there is no shortage of Gorn freedom fighters who have contacted the Federation seeking help.

That's not true. The Klingons caught and executed the Undine publicly where they were all seen to be Undine.
