On topic, I watched but didn't see any new information. However, that's coming from a guy who's plugged into the forums on an almost daily basis. It was a decent summary of where we are and where Cryptic's planning on taking us with a new FE and a new season.
Obviously the FE is in development as we write, and while they're not giving us a release date yet I think we will see it fairly soon if they intend to release it before season 8 comes out. So maybe the hype is for a real reason -- stuff is coming soon.

That's quite the paradox, how could you nerf nerf when the nerf is nerfed. But how would the nerf be nerfed when the nerf is nerfed? This allows the nerf not to be nerfed since the nerf is nerfed? But if the nerf isn't nerfed, it could still nerf nerfs. But as soon as the nerf is nerfed, the nerf power is lost. So paradoxally it the nerf nerf lost its nerf, while it's still nerfed, which cannot be because the nerf was unable to nerf.
