Spitballing Ideas for Captain's Table

OK, as we all know the captains table is rather meh.
Nice idea, but what does it do?
Here are a few ideas, and please feel free to post your own.
- Transwarp to Captain's Table
- Specialized Commodity Vendors
- Special DOff assignments for Doffs, oddities
- Specialty leveling equipment for alts (green quality, Warp 9 at Lieutenant) Dilith and/or EC
- Increased chance of chain DOff missions showing at table (even exploration clusters)
- Uber fast daily for 5 random marks

These are all excellent ideas that should be pretty easy to implement. Right now the Captain's Table space stations is perhaps the most useless "reward" for gold members who have reached that stage and lifers who have paid for early access to it.
If the devs are just going to leave the Captain's Table the way it is I'd rather just get rid of it! That stations serves absolutely ZERO purpose and offers no real benefit of any kind as it currently exists.
I would welcome these changes and any other USEFUL update the devs can make to the Captain's Table.
Right now it's just a waste of a brilliant idea and I imagine a waste of a lot of hard work that one or more of the devs did to create that location in the game.

Good idea. This would make the place a true reward and less eye candy.
All good ideas already, so it's hard to come up with more. As I understood from the books, the Captain's Table existed "outside of time" so Kirk could have a beer with Picard if they happened to be in at the same "time" so I'd like to see a vendor selling items from "past" events as though they were still on... balloon party poppers, glitter guns, etc., from anniversary events still available in the Captain's Table. Many lifers bought an LTS after such events had passed, so this could be a treat for them.

Well let's pretend it is, i think it would be the PERFECT place where low level ships could be refitted to T4.5 or at least to T4.
There should be a NPC or facility to choose a appropriate BOFF and Console Layout for each ship.
I think giving them one console less should be bearable, since most of them are either (very) old ships or smaller ships. The availlable BOFF layouts should be also a bit weaker than a normal T5, IMHO.
Another option should be to replace the BOFF/Console Layout of a normal T5 ship with some pre assembled BOFF/Console Layouts.
Since ships are supposed to be modular (bridges/BOFF Layouts should be exchangeable anyway since the second half of the 24th century) in STO, i think that would be a welcome addition. Especially since newer ships, like Lockbox ships outperform some older ones like the star Cruiser or some other ships that have been in the game since start.
The availlable BOFF/Console Layouts could be even buyable through the C-Store.
Of course there should be several different Crusier/Science/Escort BOFF Layouts availlable, but the Captains table could be the ideal place to change it.
Btw. I like the OT suggestions of course.
