Cannot log in after today's patch [Resolved!]

First attempt "Connection to login server timed out"
Second attempt "Login_2 Failed"
Exited to desktop opened the launcher and tried again

    Well, they did say "Server stability" in the release notes and we all know what that means. ;)

    i am having the same problems as u. it gets stuck at the retreiving list of characters part then stops there

    Edit: Cryptic you should make sure the server is up when you announce things like that

    Got the same here, seems kinda bad judging from this thread, tho could be that the maintenance isn't really done yet.

    Considering the maintenance isn't technically over for another 38 minutes, why are you so surprised?

    Server stability fixes have worked.

    No-one can log on, thus the server stays perfectly stable.

    Good job.

    LOL!. You all realize that Cryptic still has over 30 mins of scheduled time left.

    Just because the patch is applied and servers status is green, doesnt really mean the servers are ready...

    Same here, "retrieving list of characters...", then timeout to login server, then the next two times "Login2_timeout"

    Awesome patch though. lol

    I am getting stuck at Retrieving List of Characters then I get a Login_2 Timeout....I logged in fine before the update. Is anyone else having this issue?

    Because maintenance is over according to BranFlakes? Because the thread on the Galactic News Network section of the forums says that maintenance is complete? Because the aforementioned thread was closed? All of the above?

    Same here...

    Time Out while connecting to Login Server or trying to retrieve Character List.
