Ship Customization COLORS not working

  Same for me, especially on Romulan Ships. Not only do colors not work, ship's interior is stuck to default and design format cannot be changed even though the drop down tab shows multiple schemes. I just turned lvl 40 and got the tactical version of the available ships (there are only 3 that I saw); however, the only skin I can get is what I think to be the Reman kind and I didn't even pay for it! Don't get me wrong, I like the design, it looks awesome, but the tab selector doesn't even work. Also, I like to use the advanced tab and select my own patterns for the ship's parts (ex: Virgo, Sagittarius, Orion, Gemini, etc) but that doesn't work either. Something is very wrong and it REALLY REALLY needs to be fixed. This is only a small part of the problems I am having with STO lately. I hope that other players aren't suffering as much as me, but it seems that isn't the case as of late. :mad: :mad: :mad:

  Same issue here, all characters and ships - color selections are ignored; patterns show as faint grey.

  Yep, exactly the same issue here across all ships and toons.

  It occurs to me I only tried a couple of ships, but an existing ship could not change colors, I *could* change colors and they persisted with a Risan Corvette. Could be something to do with the wider color palettes on the Corvette.

  There is a workaround I posted in another thread - worked for me on a few ships.
  
  Select one of the basic templates to the left.
  
  This should reset the colors, and then it starts working again.
  
  (It is possible that this only works the second time you try it; I'm not totally sure.)

  it works for ships with different parts like hull. nacelles. and so on.
  it does NOT work with ships like the odyssey which only have one varrient of design

  Mine never worked until i was advised to disable the shield visuals,,,,,,,fix it for me,,,,,,
  
  but i think it only works if u r using a covariant shield array,,,

  It is all about shields it seems. I have a romulan tac command battle cruiser and I have Delta Alliance Unimatrix shields at Mk XIII. If the shields are equipped, no customization. Remove the shields to inventory, colors show up and you can customize. But the same problem exists in space as well.
