Character Race Changed Mysteriously

I generated a new Alien character of the Romulan faction earlier this week. I leveled it to Tier 2 and went to Risa. After the last patch and update, my character's race mysteriously changed from Alien to Romulan. This wouldn't have been so bad if I hadn't already invested over 3000 favor and 50,000 gold-pressed latinum on this character, making me hesitantly to just delete it and start over. I submitted a ticket, which promptly vanished. Should I keep sending out tickets until I get some kind of confirmation that the ticket was actually sent? And has anyone else every had this problem?

    no sadly it is not just you it is a bug in the tailor script/alliance script. not sure which but every romulan alien has had this happen to it over the course of the episodes and is really quite iritating

    hey did the jul 12th [atch actually fix this issue or is it still a problem, havent logged in to my alien romulan for a few days to check?

    Still wrong race. I have yet to receive any reply to my tickets and they don't even show up in my "View My Tickets" window. I'm not sure what else I can do.

    Can somebody explain the known bug more detail? I would actually prefer my rom alien be changed to reman if possible

    from what i can figure out it just changes the info not the actual character. you still have access to all the skin color/head/body options except you are treated as a romulan as dar as height is concerned...what worries me is that when/if they finally do fix this the characters that are romulan alien will become romulans...kind of been staying away from the game for this very reason.
