I will list my top, and only 5 , most enjoyable games, in order:
(In terms of Mission/ main content)
1: Star Trek Legacy
2: Star Trek Online
3: Starfleet Academy
4: Star Trek Armada II
5: Star Trek , for the Commodore 64 (bought one and the C64 last week)
In terms of play anytime:
1: Star Trek Online
2: Star Trek by interceptor for the C64
3: Star Trek Legacy
4: Starfleet Academy (Low because it does not work properly)
5: Star Trek Armada II
Hopefully I'll come back from my break; this break is fun; I play intellectual games.
There was also this ST game that I played when I was in Chicago Star Trek Convention and it was awesome, You basically need 5 others to help command the game on separate screens. (It was a simulation game)

A Final Unity. I still hold that as the greatest star trek game I've ever played. Granted there are quite a few I have not played, but they would have to be something real special to beat final unity.

A Romulan Strike Team, Missing Farmers and an ancient base on a Klingon Border world. But what connects them? Find out in my First Foundary mission: 'The Jeroan Farmer Escapade'
I don't even remember the name of the game I played in late 80's. It played like Space Quest without the jokes and had a small amount of space battles.
SFC was a good one as well as the academy ones (starfleet and Klingon)
prolly the 2 that could be classified as classics, 25th anniversary and judgement rites
the armadas were good, when you had the right version of windows
never finished final unity, should dig that one out and try it again
there was that one that was set right after insurrection, you played a human raised vulcan, 3rd person view, i think it was called hidden evil or something to that effect
never finished final unity, should dig that one out and try it again
There were two parts of that game that proved real trouble. One was a musical floor puzzle, I had to find a walkthrough for that, and the other was trying to find the final location in the game. I only found the solution to that puzzle by complete accident, while flying around Romulan space looking for warbirds.

In no particular order...
-All three SFC games (Still want to find a way to get SFC3 working on a system running something higher than DX9)
-Armada games
-Legacy
-Away Team
-Elite Force games (Yes... even the first one which was Voyager)
-Dominion Wars
-New Worlds (Yea I actually played that one. Pretty good, but I got stuck in the Fed campaign)
I can't take it anymore! Could everyone just chill out for two seconds before something CRAZY happens again?!

Also there's a Star Trek mod for Space Empires 5 that is pretty good, or so I've heard.

Birth of the Federation (or the SE:V mod)
