Any recommendations to make it hit harder? Like maybe that Omega Plasma Torpedo Launcher since I already have the other 2 pieces of it's set? And I would like to keep the Beam banks to target subsystems. Not go back to the Aux cannons.
Multi-Mission Reconnaissance
(some sort of phaser)
(Andorian for the blue aesthetics maybe)
Going through it - 2 TT1 for damage and shield distribution, CRF and CSV for exploiting those Aux cannons, APO for more dps and turn.
Healing is from the HE1, Fermion Console and if youre in a bit of a pickle, use the Vesta console ability to make yourself invincible. You won't be able to fire but you can heal the TRIBBLE out of yourself and evasive out of dodge. Plus sci ships have better use of shields so the shield buffs should help you live as well.
CPB is there to reveal those pesky rommies and klinks, SS1 is there to give you a bit of an advantage, GW3 + CSV + APO + TT1 = ALOT of damage in a confined area to multiple targets. Doesn't necessarily mean win but used with Sensor Scan, Scattering Field, Mask Energy Signature and SNB, you'll do ALOT of damage very quickly and there's not much your opponents can really do about it.
Plus pets annoy the TRIBBLE out of people XD
I find the tranny cluster good on the rear of any tac geared ship as when you're barrelling head first at an opponent blasting them to hell with your cannons, if they still live as you pass them, your BTCP launches at point blank, instantly deploying and detonating.
Power Levels I keep at 25 Weapon, 75 Shield, 25 Engine, 100 Aux, but with skills, the MACO stuff, the Fleet Warp Core, and the Nukara T4 buff, it roughly means about 70-75 Weapon, 100 Shield, 65-70 Engine and 130 Aux.
I find it a fun ship to take into PvP XD

turrets + beams are not working together well. as I see you have DEM. then I would suggest buying technicians, and check out my beam faw spam build. you will lose EPTS, but meh, you gonna have TSS and if you chose to do so an EPTS on GCD, so thats no issue
if you wanted to build the most capable high damage vesta, this is how you would go about it. sure, you could build it hotter then that, but you would foolishly sacrifice great potential survivability in the proses. this should still be hot enough to do any job
2 turn+ all resist consoles 5 plasma imbued particle gens 3 plasma energy damage
3 purple tech doffs, 2 vm doffs
TBR will deal your primary damage, with low aux from the AtB use, there should be little push, just damage. the cannons should do a good job moping up, and VM should put a stop to any significant fighting back. with the 5 available sci consoles, its hard not to use plasma weapons for the bonus to their damage you can get with embassy consoles. even a sci captain could get good damage from this, but a tac would be best

i gave this a try as I have a sci vesta w/ a tactical captain...
Im not sure what im doing wrong. I used Aux2Batt followed by TBR3 at near pointblank and..... nothing really happens. I push them a little bit, and take them from 100% hull to 98% Hull....
This is with 5 purple particle gens, and maxed particle in skill tree. Was this nerfed recently?

That should be giving you around 2,000 damage/pulse.
Do you have a high Graviton spec? Maybe you're pushing them out of range.

What's your listed damage per sec from the TBR3?

Your Tractor Beam Repulsor III deals 694 (1123) Kinetic Damage to xxxxx
2 projectile doffs, 2 technicians, 1 tbr doff
Seems like a whole lot of hull damage. Or would 3 plasms dhc with all embassy consoles do more plasma dot dmg to hull than the transphasics would?
