So, I was actually going to buy these.. since the patch notes claim that the palette issues have been addressed.

Imagine my surprise when I can't actually buy Zen.

I'm getting a Server Not Found error when trying to buy using my credit card.

I've tried in both IE and FireFox, to no avail...

Is there an issue with the "securepay" server? Trying to either ping or tracert gives the message:

tracert = Unable to resolve target system name securepay.perfectworld.com

ping = Ping request could not find host securepay.perfectworld.com. Please check the name and try again.

I've made sure securepay.perfectworld.com is in my "trusted" list of websites to access...

    So, any clues?

So much for the uniforms.

Can't really get the new Dreadnought Warbirds either with the Zen problem tho...

Are you friggin' kidding me?!? The TOS Romulan Uniforms are still broken?!?

If that's the case, no TNG Romluan Uniform purchase for me.

You can find/contact me in game as @PatricianVetinari. Playing STO since Feb 2010.

Well I would suggest trying by Steam, it does meaning having to install the whole thing but at least Steam Wallet works.

Okay, I've never used Steam to buy Zen (didn't even know that was possible), and not sure exactly how to go about it.

    Following what it states, here:

"Your Steam wallet is where you can find the money you have placed into your Steam account. This money can be used to buy Zen in any of our games currently on Steam. To make a purchases using Steam, you must first login into the game via the Steam client. Downloads and logins from the Perfect World website will not be able to connect to Steam.

Once in game, go to the cash shop and click the "Buy Zen" button. This will bring up the Steam overlay. From here, you can either chose to use funds that are already in your Steam wallet to purchase Zen, or you can add funds to your Steam Wallet to purchase Zen with. Any Zen purchased via Steam will go directly into the game you are logged into, no transfer required!

I've loaded the cash in my Steam Wallet, added STO to Steam, and launched the game.. Now, when I try to buy the Zen, STO isn't connecting to Steam, or something.. I get no error, but in Steam, it just lists the transaction as failed... <sigh>

Anyone able to give me a hand here?

First, you dont add just STO to Steam as it will not work, it needs the specific Steam STO Client.

You install STO using Steam Client and launch STO using the Steam client.

Then ingame you go to the C-store and click on "Buy Zen", that should have the Steam wallet as the option.

Yes... I did that. I sat and watched it reinstall it's own version of STO, separate from my original install.

Now, when in game, I clicked on Store, then "Buy Zen" .. The Steam Wallet window pops up.. I choose the amount I have in my wallet for Zen, and click "Buy". In the lower left hand corner is text stating "Waiting for Steam to respond to your previous request".

If I look under Game Transactions, in my Steam window, I now have four attempts, all failed.

Is anyone who purchased this able to actually use it? I bought them, but the tailor won't let me switch to it.

I'm wearing the uniform with no problem.

I would like to know if anyone knows the exact canon color scheme for the uniforms and can post them since cryptic didn't include a default color scheme preset.

Its suppose to be silver top, with grey patterning, black straps with gold eagles and 'dots', with black slacks and boots.... but apparently the palette is bugged, so you cannot get the proper silver coloring.

I can't say I'm pleased with the change that came with the addition of this outfit, which made to the Vice Admiral Pauldrons considerably oversized compared to before.

I understand this change was meant to have them not clip with the TNg Romulan outfit, but now they look pretty awkward on the Romulan females for all the other outfits.

All of the screenshots I have seen of these and the 22nd Century uniforms, they do not have the correct ranks. Is that a bug or are these two uniforms sold incomplete?

Those TNG uniforms look great! I've created a few with the original colours and a few that are more in line with the New Republic colour schemes: browns, tans, oranges. With the 22nd helmet they look incredibly mean. Good job!

Now if the supposed Nukara tribble reward was actually where it's supposed to be...:(

Can you post pictures of your creations? I'd like to see the "canon" versions, New Repub, and Helm'd versions you created, please?

Assuming they fix the 22nd Cent Uniform, I'd really like to get the TNG ones.

I'm at work right now but when I get home tonight I will post them. The TNG 1st Season Romulan uniforms had always been my favourite. I don't know why they dropped the sash in the following seasons.

I'm not sure why, but I can't see this costume in the main list from the tailor. Is it somewhere else? My Romulan is fed aligned but also has no access to ANY of the c-store costumes I purchased. I have the same 9 costume choices that I've had since I picked an alliance. Can anyone help?

Bought both the TNG and the TOS unis yesterday. My Klink-allied Rommie uses the TNG one and my Fed-allied Rommie uses the TOS one. Very nice job on the TNG Set. Watched the TNG episode where Troi is kidnapped and winds up on a Warbird posing as a member of the Tal Shiar right after spending the Zen. Went back ingame and was able to create a match for the uniform she wore which was nearly perfect! All I needed was the right kind of pistol holster.

@Devs or Mods. Could we please have a listing of whomever was involved in making the TNG uniforms? So they could recieve the credit they so very much earned? Thanks!
