Tac & Engi Team causing target switch

Tactical team & engineering team (probably sci team too, haven't checked) team cause my target focus to switch to my own heavy torps, my pets, & my aceton assimilators. this occurs while using keyboard shortcuts & while clicking on the icon. icon position on the shortcut bar makes no difference. changing settings for never auto target pets &/or target objects has no effect. changing keybinds has no effect. if there is no owned heavy torp/pet/toy object deployed, the target switch does not happen.

i'm all out of bullets in my troubleshooting gun...

this has been happening for atleast a week, maybe more. i first attributed it to being placated in combat, but i noticed it right now while setting up for a foundry grinder.

this is a particularly irksome bug as i rely heavily on tac/engi team.

edit: further testing reveals unselecting pet/etc & hitting "team" skill reselects the object. pressing the skill again casts the "team" skill on selected object. fix this please, my heavy torps don't need tac team :(

    It's any space ability that can be used to target self and allies, and it's been around since the launch of LoR. Turning on "Never auto target pets" works for me, though.

    I have the same problem as dr9999, though playing as a tactical officer, when trying to heal my tactical team, engineering team and other skills that can be used on allies just target mines or heavy torpedoes. It happens randomly, sometimes i get healed but sometimes not. It has been happening for some time now, a week or two.

    You can use tactical team on others? Never knew

    But yeah I only get this bug with tactical team
