Star Trek / SR2 Normandy Hybrid ship

Here is someone's concept of a Star Trek Ship & Mass Effect 3 SR2 Normandy ship, would love this in game as a Tactical ship. / Advanced Defiant version Zen store ship.

    .....its ugly. and i usually dont say that about ships.


    I love mass effect 3.... but i think they picked a poor combo.now had they reconfigured a prometheus into the normandy, it might have looked better..... but i think it looks bad. looks like someone took a defiant and slapped on some new stuff to it.

    Yeeeeah, saw it before, I thought it was an insult both to the Defiant and to the Normandy.

    Only ship I find somewhat resembling the Normandy, in hull shape anyway, is the Adapted Destroyer.

    I will have to say pone thing about the design..... it's the first ship to have 6 warp nacelles on it. multiple ships (multivector) in one dont count.

    I think my reaction could best be summed up with the words, "Oh God, oh God, the googles they do nothing."

    It's a Defiant in need of rhinoplasty surgery, basically. >_<

    Oh, I've seen uglier ships. Not many, to be sure....

    I'd say that what that looks like is what would happen if someone attempted to attach warp nacelles to male genitalia.

    This is Star Trek, not Mass Effect. If you want to fly Mass Effect ship in MMO go bug Bioware/EA about it, thank you.

    How this ship has managed to work its way into the list of classic Sci-Fi designs is beyond me.

    It's not bad, but it should stay in ME. Trek has a particular style that doesn't work well in crossovers.

    I hope the Devs look at this , I want a version of the Defiant escort like that. I want a newer fleet ship. TIRED of looking at my fleet defiant and I want a higher crew count then 50. :D

    But yeah, that ship looks quite bad.

    I changed it up a little, I think this would be a great tactical ship, with 150 crew Quad Phaser cannons, Advanced mines deployment. RCS vectored inpulse thrusters for speed. the 2 outter warp nacells act as backups to the main 2 inner ones. and 1 forward torpedo launcher. 5 tactical slots 3 tact bridge stations 1 sci 1 eng 3 eng console 2 sci stations. 5 forward weapon slots ~ T

    It's the USS Mutant Elephant...

    That's less of a hybrid, more like someone went to town on broken down parts. It doesn't mesh well, and it's ugly as hell.
    Everywhere I look, people are screaming about how bad Cryptic is.

    Wow, you guys are so cruel... :rolleyes: I mean, I'm not a fan of it either but...c'mon.

    We'll never see a ship like this in-game because it just looks to similar to the Normandy and copyright issues are bound to follow. But, you could be onto something. Try shortening the long snout there and lose the outer nacelles. Consider having the nacelle pylons swivel so the ship can land on planets.

    He posted it, in a thread, seemingly asking for feedback...

    I think the ship is ugly... I think the Normandy is ugly too... It seems to be a bad design to me, and merging it with a Defiant dosen't make it much better.

    If I were cruel, I would have been mean about it... I mean really mean.

    When I posted my Manta class back in the day, I wanted feedback too... got some good ones and some not quite so good ones, and that's how the game works.

    The Normandy is a beautiful ship and I would love to fly it. However that picture of yours looks like someone gave it the same treatment as George Lucas and Steven Spielberg gave Indiana Jones. (according to south park)

    The Normandy is supposed to look like this.

    It just doesn't look trek so I don't think it will make the game. if I ever got news of a decently done mass effect MMO I'd play it.
    THE NEW CRAFTING SYSTEM IS TERRA-BAD
    First of all it's not even a crafting system! It's just a dumb game system that's nothing more than a glorified slots machine.
    second the "special items" you hope will be the saving the saving grace are messed up to.
