The Risan Resort Must Remain, Even After The Event

I'm really enjoying the Summer Event on Risa, as if you couldn't tell.

I do believe that we can't go back to the old "placeholder" version of Risa once the event ends, however.

Turn the event rewards into standard dailies with dilithium, or GPL, or credit rewards. Whatever.

The improvement on Risa as an in-game canonical Star Trek destination is significant. The new environments are beautiful and compelling ... plus, we have grav-packs. :)

I understand that the summer event can't run year-round, but this new vision of Risa should remain. A vacation destination for combat-weary starship captains.

My opinion, anyway,

    Keep the vacationers, floater vendor, and all the various amenities, but remove all accolades and events from the resort and it would be good. The fireworks and bonfires should be kept as well.

    According to Borticus in a dev blog, the new look risa will be staying once the event is over. :D:D:D:D

    They should totally turn it into a place to get some dilithium... doing the current events at 480 dilithium on a cool down would be cool. Or even better if the devs don't want to wear out the summer events they can create a daily exploration mission like the captain's holiday episode. Do a horgan hunt and punch a ferengi boss at the end... lol. It'd be a shame if there wasn't something to do there year round with all the effort they put into the map.

    I think Cryptic should keep Risa open after the summer event, obviously remove all the events but leave dance floor, jet packs, bank/exchange and sun lounger (LOLZ)

    maybe now and then add a little adventure game for us to play?

    How would people get the jetpacks outside the event? Latinum?

    (Incidentally, I kinda like latinum buying you extra features at a social hub. Maybe, for example, we could buy an apartment on DS9 that's a redress of the conference room where we can put up ship trophies, do crafting, and invite friends just like a high end bridge.)

    Yes, yes, yes. I love to do stuff like this beside the normal fighting and I would certainly buy extras to have an even better experience. As the OP mentions, it is not necessary to have cool prizes, just a small amount of marks will do.

    I would like to see the new Risa stay and the dailies stay and maybe add some more.

    There should be things that are unique to the summer event besides the corvette.
