Chat Broken / buggy PLEASE FIX ASAP

Ok two problems i see here the Enter button does not activate the chat no matter how many times i hit enter.

2nd issue i see is the Disable emote option for the channels is missing from the configuration section.And it is really annoying trying to find a message threw all of the emotes flying threw the chat on risa.

Please Fix ASAP

Im also having problems with the chat system. All the channels are blank and my friends dont show online. Im already 30 minutes in the game, and still nothing.

When I send pm it says that the Chat is Offline

Same here, can't pm, can't access my fleets global channels.. only channel that shows up is local, and when I type a message I recieve, "chat is offline". Guess I'll try the email system..

This just started for me as well. Friends list is empty, and so is the channels list.

It just stopped working here as well.

Message is chat is offline. Started around 22:50 CET (5 minutes ago from this post)

None of my toons can use chast and I tried relogging with no help.

Okay the problem seems to be fixed for me. Did nothing, the chat came out from nowhere.

yeah same here chat hasn't worked for me for like 4 or 5 days.

My suggestion is to this problem:

Move all emotes in to a separate channel.
As it is now it is impossible to not see them, no matter how you set up your chat window.

With these dance competitions this problem have multiplied by a factor of 1000. At least.

If they were in a separate channel and maybe if that channel were able to handle the load, then everyone would be happy.

Then those who want the channel with Emotes can check the box for that channel in the chat tabs they want to see it.

Its more to do with the stream of copy and paste spammers ,jesus on risa you cannot read anychat because of the spam we need a adblock or better still a 24 hour ban.

Sorry, my suggestion was aimed at Cryptic not at you. As it is impossible to choose to view Emotes or not, as it stands now, in the chat channel options.

It was more of a suggestion on how they would best fix this problem with emotes by the 1000 making it impossible to catch anything said in any other channel. As the Emotes are present in all of them.
