Section 18 Help Test Subjects (BUG)

I am doing the mission Section 18 on my StarFleet Character (not the legacy of romulas character). When I try to help the test subjects, when I talk to Rinna Khev she wont transport away from like the other test subjects. Everything else in this mission is okay until I get to that point when the other test subjects beam out but Rinna Khev doesnt. Has anyone else got the same problem?

OOps I made a mistake in calling it Section 18, its supposed to be Installation 18.. Sorry about that.

    I am having the same problem. Have dropped and retried the mission twice already...still same results. Hope they fix this soon as I can't get any follow on missions until this one is completed. :(

    I find this mission bugged. I'm the third one noticed this bug, so when I read about aborting the mission for 15 minutes, I tried it. I hope this would solve the problem.

    Unfortunately I still haven't gotten past this task, and it's rather frustrating. Is this a new bug?

    You're not the first one with this problem, there's several threads already.

    It's a new bug, yes. After the most recent patch, Starfleet and KDF characters need to have a Romulan along, with Rinna's brother Tovan as a bridge officer in team. She hangs because she's waiting for her brother to speak, and since he's not there, she's stuck.

    Annoying bug, yes, but the above mentioned workaround should do until Cryptic fixes it.

    I apologize, I have only been playing this game for a week... How do I get Tovan as a bridge officer?

    Oh, no need to apologize.

    The problem is Tovan is only available to the Romulan faction. Other factions can't get him. Which breaks the mission for Starfleet and Klingon Defense Force characters.

    Which is why I suggested finding someone with a Romulan character to team with. As long as one person in the team has Tovan, it should be doable.

    If nobody else offers, message me in-game, and I'll grab my max level Romulan. (in-game name's the same as my forum name.)

    Oh, that make sense. Thank you. I've soloed all the way to this point, so I guess it's time to stop being antisocial.

    Vendince, thank you very much for your assistance. Oddly enough, right after I left the mission, a Romulan was running up so I had him join my group and we completed without trouble.

    I take back everything I've been saying about Nimbus in the past. The fact that it allows for such incidents as that really is quite fantastic.

    Yes i have the same issue now. Started with the most recent patch. I did this mission over 20 times right before patch. never an issue. now i stuck

    I can attest to this and it is a new bug. I've been back playing for a week and a half, and I did this quest with no issues a few days ago. Yesterday I tried with another character (both were Klingons in the KDF) and Rinna will not update or get transported out, so the quest cannot be completed.

    Ive been replaying more than 10 times, even created 2 characters, and it still stuck... So what should i do now, i cant complete the quest

    I ought to save this to a text file so I can cut and paste it in each and every of the double-digit number of threads on this subject:

    The workaround is to team up with a Romulan who brings Tovan Khev. There's Romulans in zone on Nimbus offering to team.

    I'm having the same problem myself. It is really irritated and it will be nice if they can fix the bug as soon as possible.
