Bug with Claiming a New Ship in Neutral No More

So, I've submitted a ticket in game for this: Ticket # 1,813,812.

I have a KDF aligned Romulan, completed the mission Neutral No More, went to the flotilla to claim my new ship, claimed the ship, customized it, and set it as my primary ship.

Mission will not progress beyond Claim New Ship.

Because of this, I cannot progress with this character.

    So, per a twitter conservation with BranFlakes, the workaround to get mission to progress is to click through all the dialogue options with the ship requisition officer on the flotilla.

    I tried that, and the mission did progress.

    thank you so much for divulging cereal man`s wisdom,id been stuck on this with my new romulan character since yesterday or so...

    also,someone must sticky this thread and give this solution to anyone in the future who may have this problem,we cant afford these kinds of bugs in new game content

    I had a problem with this mission also except the mission progressed without me claiming a ship. I tried to claim a ship but the game would not let me. I talked to the person who sells ships like the game told you to do and it would not let me get a ship. When I exited the interface the mission progressed to making my new ship my active ship before I even had a ship. If someone can help me that would be great otherwise I may just delete that character
