Risa Summer Event: Swimwear is a MUST

From the latest massively column:
Stahl confirm[ed] that later this month we will see the implementation of the new summer event to act as a companion to the game's popular winter event held every December. He stated that the event's scope will not be much different from that of the winter games, but it will celebrate the season.

Since we got to stock up on winter coats, scarves, etcs... I better be able to outfit my toon in a bikini.

Yes, my toon will wear it on ESD in December. I'll also make a fortune of ECs stock-piling them for sale on the exchange.

Please make it so.

    I'd just like to point out that wearing Bikinis in December is completely normal* and I have no idea why Kirkfat just made a point of wearing them on ESD on December.

    Seems to me that if we get a summer event with scanty costume peace's then we also need a jet ski race and a ship to work towards... to say nothing of a giant... err something to shoot with,.. erm coconut guns?

    But seriously, another +1 for summer swimwear for all toons... bikinis for the ladies and trunks for the dudes...

    Oh, maybe surfboards for the shuttlecraft, on the roof? Then we need wood paneling on the sides, flame job paint...

    For my toon, Bermuda shorts and a Hawaiian shirt, I don't care that they look cheesy, but they are stylish:D, for the drinks an ice cold beer will do

      Amish frocks. The summer event will be on one of those pre warp ren fair type worlds. You will sing hyms, burn heretics and hunt game.

      I'm not crazy about the idea of swimsuits in the game ... unless it's a bikini that adds a free "seduction" trait to your toon or BOff so that when an enemy NPC targets the wearer of the bikini, the enemy turns around and starts shooting his own comrades rather than the seductress. ;)

      I think Risa should issue squirt guns and water balloons.

      I'm surprised no one has mentioned they want the Horga'hn Fertility Idol as an optional trophy to put in your Captain's Ready Room!

      I think the Horga'hn statue would be a nice little prize / ready room decoration that would last all year rather than swimsuits that most people won't use after the summer event ... well, maybe the lonely guys will use the bikinis (assuming there are bikinis) after summer, but that's about it.

      Whilst I'd love to put my Trill in a bikini on Risa. I really hope they fix the spots first to give them a more consistent flow from head to foot, rather then leave a mix of misaligned textures with blank gaps between them.
