Blocky 4x AA in DirectX11

When using DirectX11 mode and 4x (or higher) antialiasing many scenes will render with black boxes around characters. Dropping the AA to 2x or using DirectX9 mode makes the issue go away.

Image on the right is DirectX11 @ 2xAA, while on the right is DX11 @ 4xAA. You can see the blockiness on the right.

I've noticed it seems to depend upon the background images. Some rooms you don't see it, and others it's really bad.

these issues are all caused by using direct x 11 which has corrupt shaders after failed compile. only way is to navigate to the cache folder under the star trek online folder and delete the .hogg files or rename them.
and only use direct x 9 video card setting under trouble shooting.

Yeah, I just put it down to 2x antialiasing and it's fine. I really don't notice the difference.
