been down for over 3 hours now....Im soooo bummed.....forcing me to wanna drink...STO is my new addiction....I quit World of ******** cold turkey for this ......as a Star Trek Fan (who goes to the conventions) and also looks Like a REAL Vulcan (check me out of face book Jay Pabon) .....the logical thing to say is this is the best game I've ever played since I wished Star Trek: Elite Force and Armada would come to life....and it did!!!!.....I love my bridge crew officers....is this logical to say???? I love this game ....Please...I if I can work on the server I would help!!!!!!At transwarp speed...

Anyone else having launcher problems? I've restarted mine 3 times after waiting 5 or so minutes for it to go to engage (finished patch right before server went down) and on the 4th try and it's still at "loading launcher" after logging in.

Interesting, both my Fed and Romulan Characters are logged in at the same time according to my fleet's roster... Interesting indeed.

i guess its time to watch star trek voyager on netflix and dvds in the meantime.....i really do love STO though.....more than any other game now.....wow is boring compaired to being in the future with the crew....please please please.....server come back up soon....!!!!!!!!!
Seems like a verification issue for those still not getting in. The patcher updated today, so try force verifying the launcher and try again.

Fair warning: for a free game, it is very restrictive. A slew of what had previously been basic functions are behind a pay wall now.

You can do the main missions, but things like the flashpoints, two of your previous three crew skills, blue grade gear and higher, more than (I think) two character slots ... those are all pay to unlock.
Okay, working for me. Now everyone don't go & try to buy Zen all at once & maybe they will stay up.
I'd be willing to bet that is what did it in the first place, I've seen it happen in LOTRO & SWTOR when a deal is offered. Too many ppl placing orders causes it to go... derp.

The name I have already wanted to have for it is The Romulan Republic.
Or if anyone has a better name then let me know, but I have to have four other players not on a fleet to help me then if you want to u can leave or do what ever if you dont want to be in one.
But I want to have a fleet mafe up of the strongest Romulans with the Elite few to join and support our cause and fight for the right for we are Romulans and we fight for the Romulan Star Empire! if anyone want to help just send me a ingame pm to @startrektrekkie or just look for me in game thanks.

Your logic makes my head spin. If the servers are down, how would they post a message in game telling us the servers are down? If the servers are down, don't you think we already know that? Why would they post something in game that we already know?

it was 60 marks reward before server went offline
its now apparenty 75...
