Oh well I guess I may as well go get some sleep and hope they figure out how to turn the servers back on by the time I get off work tomorrow..

Every patch seems to have "server stability" somewhere in it so eventually I hope that we will actually have stable servers...lol

Do a good enough job developing and testing your code that it doesn't just crash except maybe once in a very rare while?

Seriously, I haven't played in two weeks, I go to log in...and the server's down. AGAIN.

Way to give me a good impression of the stability improvements in those two weeks :p

Well, I'm tired of this. I'm going to bed, and hopefully the server will be back up when I wake up in the morning. I'm not getting my hopes up.

Okay, I'll bite. Which item(s) in the list do you take issue with exactly, unless your problem is that he left out "fire anyone in mid-level management associated with QA or SDLC"?

Or do you perhaps not know what those acronyms stand for, given that you think he doesn't know what he's talking about? If the two of you were sitting in one of my meetings, and he presented that list, to have you counter with "he has no idea what he's talking about", my recommendation to our collective boss would be to replace you.

But please, do tell me how that makes me a lemming. For the life of me, I can't believe the number of people who a) apologize for Cryptic's incompetence, and b) attack those who don't (which is far, far worse).

    what he said nlm

I don't know why, but in game when my Excelsior-class ship gets near a Constitution-class ship, the transwarp stops working.

You do realize they're beaming holographic Scotty over to remove the chips from your transwarp computer, and replace it it with Win95 install discs.........:):D:):D

I'm a lifer and having this issue, so it's not that.

Was beaming to my ship from DS9, and my character model disappeared but left me still on the station and able to run around.

Thought logging out and back in would solve it. Joke was on me now that I can't even get past the Retrieving Character List message.

I was in the process of beaming over to a Tal Shiar ship to "interrogate" some Klingon prisoners right as the crash happened.

    [
QUOTE=rob2485;10817601]Well, here is another Maintenance Thursday I won't be able to play. They added a patch and broke the wheel. You guys should feed the hamsters more often.

as you may have notice the hamsters are dead and as for the after school project for after the prom their dates left them for someone with a work ethic and a lot of know how, i work 5 to 6 days a week and this is one of my escapes just glad i'm not paying for it, maybe its time to tell the champions-online guys to keep their grubby hands off leave it to the professionals if they got any over there, but its hard being underappreciated and underpaid and overworked but guess what welcome to the real world, but if you really want to get down to brass nuts, you are working on a free to play game with not much income coming in about a world where money is out moded (except for the ferengi there is always an exception) so get your ferengi buts off the dabo tables and do some work for a change, it's been 2 hours enough time for another server restart, if it was a server catching fire or blowing up or getting fried shouldn't you guys at least put something on the login screen and give a time up status you know its some thing the big boys learned so they wouldn't get all these angry messages and don't just throw it up on twitter not everyone uses that at least on the login screen everyone sees that just an idea throwing it out there now run with it.

Khan, I'm laughing at the "superior intellect."

    this times 100

Its ironic when professed "it" pros come and say the user base is wrong in wanting a stable, reliable product because of this reason or that...yet offer ZERO "knowledge" to back it up...

I'm not a computer expert. I do not know mmo maintance, infrastructure plans/procedures.

I'm a consumer. And what i see is a broken unsupported product. Think im wrong? Then tell me why. Man up "it" specialists. Shed light on this, instead of being trolls.
