If you're reporting somebody's chat and then not ignoring them, you're doing it wrong. Report then ignore.
I'm sorry but this is exactly what I will not do. If I did it would look to me and everyone else who reports that Cryptic is doing a fabulous job of removing these people.
Keep in mind there has only been one person who has gotten under my skin in the past year.
If Cryptic was doing their job I would have no reason to use ignore would I?
I also believe the 2 people who were quoted here would be the first ones to say "WHY DOESN'T SOMEONE DO SOMETHING?" if they were the ones who's children were exposed to afore mentioned obscenities.
Don't kid yourself. STO isn't the first place they've been exposed to, and it certainly won't be the last.
Myself? No, I wouldn't be one of the first ones to say that, as I raise my children to live in reality and become adults. (unlike my sister, who wigs out on every 'bad' word uttered within earshot of my nephews, seemingly intent on raising her children to stay children the rest of their lives, but that is an issue between her and I that has nothing to do with STO )

No one can force you to be an adult, that's just a decision you can make for yourself. Or you can choose to stamp your feet and declare yourself some kind of martyr.

In good faith I have tried to address the issue of racist propaganda being said in general chat and I'm accused of being a child, a troll, some kind of whack-job martyr/crusader, and an idiot for not just using ignore.
Pretty sad commentary on the state of things around here.
Be sure that I will say whatever I please in zone chat from now on as a response to anyone that annoys me.
There are no rules here and the members of the STO community that have morals are the ones told to go sit in the corner.
This will be my last post so you can now be free of my "trolling"
