Space/Ground Abilities Not Working Properly

I don't know if this is a known issue or if others have experienced this (my search skills seemed to have left me), so I thought I would post this.

I have been having an issue with my space/ground abilities either not being available to use, or they target my torpedoes and not my ship. This seems to only affect my FED and KDF characters. I will explain what exactly is going on.

For my KDF character, I have the Ophidian Cane in his device slot with the ability for it in the ground ability tray, but I can't use it as it is always grayed out (in and out of combat). My FED Character has this item and can use it without problem. Also, his space ability Go Down Fighting is also always grayed out (in and out of combat as well) so I can't use it either.

As for my FED character, when using certain space abilities that target 'self' I am having issues. I have the Romulan Hyper-Plasma Torpedo Launcher and Breen Transphasic Cluster Torpedo equipped and when they fire and I try to use Tactical Team, Brace for Impact, EPS Power Transfer, Engineering Team or Hazard Emitters, they target the torpedoes and not my ship, no matter how far away they get from me or what the target is (one was over 12km away and the Tactical Team targeted that). This causes me to either time the use of these abilities or turn so that the target is not in the torpedoes arc and use them then (works about 75% of the time). This has been greatly reducing my performance in missions, PVE and PVP.

I have tried, unsuccessfully, to fix this problem. I have removed the abilities/item from the tray/device slot, exited the game, went back in and re-added them, same things occurred.

Does anyone know of a fix for this?

    I forgot to mention that this has been going on since about a week after LoR's launch.

    Romulans are affected by the targetting issue as well. My crew too occasionally decide that my destabilized plasma torpedo would benefit more from Hazard Emitters than I would.

    The issue with Go Down Fighting isn't a bug. It has been changed to only become available when you're at less than 50% hull; like Abandon Ship and Fleet Support.

    I should have been a little more clearer with the Go Down Fighting ability, I left out important info about the problem I'm having with it. It is always grayed no matter what I do or what hull % is left. I thought at first it was only available when the hull was <50% or <25%, so I tried it. I let my hull go down below 25% and I still was not able to use it. I think that at this time, it's a bug that is either only affecting me or a small amount of users. This ability and the Ophidian Cane are the only 2 that I can't use with my KDF character.

    UPDATE - The unusable Ophidian Cane & Go Down Fighting abilities are now working on my KDF character. I sent a ticket to Cryptic on 6-5-13 & today they are working. I was able to get the hull down to 47% & Go Down Fighting lit up. I was also able to use the Ophidian Cane in ground combat, although it seems I have to be within about 5-8m of the target for it to be usable, whereas my FED character seems to be able to use it further out (15m+). Not sure why though. My FED is engineering while my KDF is tactical.

    Same problem here. Ever since the some time around the LoR release, I've been having severe targeting issues with support abilities.

    The issue is with any powers that can be used either on myself or on a friendly target. They used to automatically target myself when I wasn't already locked on to something friendly. Now that doesn't work if there is anything friendly too close to me (seems to be about half a KM). This means I frequently end up wasting heals on mines or carrier pets

    I'm also experiencing the targeting bug. Not only on friendlies though. I'll be sitting in CC, wailing away on the Entity, then go to pop HE, but it targets one of my Scorpion fighters. Or it'll randomly decide that my Energy Syphon should be targeting a Large Crystalline Shard instead of the Entity.

    The Hazard Emitters part has cost me a few deaths in CC and STFs.

    Also, I'm not sure if this is related, but the Tuffli from the Pirate summon will sometimes use Extend Shields on cubes in STFs.
