Hey guys, I've got a problem...
I have been having trouble trying to update STO recently and I keep getting error report 14, it says failure to connect to the server and attempts to patch from the start again. The server status for me can even be Green and it'll still do it.
The only way I have been able to fix it, is by Verifying the game cache through steam. I did that and I was missing 9 files that amounted to 3.9GB !! Once it had replaced the flies it was working in no time.
Now the only problem is that lasted 2 days almost and guess what......
...yes its happened again, did the thing through steam and bing 3.9GB's missing again?! so anyway its downloading them again, and I'm damn sure this isn't normal. Do you think think there's anything I can do or just report the problem?
