At the very least, can we some kind of confirmation that the Devs know about this? I've seen a dozen threads (posted in several of them) all talking about this bug, but never anything that suggests the Devs even know about it.

Is the entire tree of missing KDF-Rom missions going to be fixed any time soon, as well as PvP being broken for all KDF-Aligned players (both K and R) before level 21? Currently there is all of nothing to do as K-Rom as a result of none of the side missions being available.
You unable to adapt to an NPC mobility increase =/= something being broken.
I have no problems adapting. Just think it's probable that their mobility increase was an unintended side-effect of the player Emergency Power changes.
Also, it's downright annoying having to chase after the Borg spheres flying all over the map.

Than either slot movement increases of your own, or use CCs. Targets not rolling up with a giant "shoot me" sign on them is far from a bad thing.
Just to clarify on the sensor scan problem, for those who don't know, the normal function is that it lowers resists in a 3km sphere around the target. The target can be a maximum of 10Km away from you. However what happens now is sensor scan always targets the owner, i.e. the 3Km sphere happens around the player's ship, which is..well..kinda useless. In my case it is doubly so because I have a Doff that lowers weapon damage too on SS activation.
Hope it gets fixed soon, but to me the primary things was PvE queues and mail; then Senor scan, transwarp-sonic Borg, and that weird annoying noise that keeps coming on when you enter a space stf (sounds like an alert, but i can't find what for).

Honestly, I'd be fine if they stayed as fast as they are, as long as their tactics were updated to match their new speed. Most often what I see them doing is hitting Emergency to Engines and then just flying straight off into the wilderness, never to return, which means several players out hunting down spheres instead of fighting against them like it should be.
Heh, that would explain where my DPS went on my Atrox. The BFaW fix made my ScOdy's DPS jump, but my Catbox dropped by like 1k. I was wondering what hit my Catbox, but she stays further out then my Ody, who has the manuverability while separated to get in and out as needed.
At least I'm not going crazy, I couldn't figure out where the DPS went. I should have been doing more after LoR not less.
Also, signal to noise ratio on the forums has been crazy these past weeks. This is the first I've heard of the SS bug myself, tho admittedly I spend less time on the forums anymore, so much negativity, and so much of it based on willful ignorance... In my youth I'd fight against it but I'm old anymore... I'm content to know better and giggle to myself. It doesn't surprise me at all that people don't know about this bug, I noticed its effects instantly, but still had no idea what was causing it till this thread.
Edit: The best ways I've found so far to deal with the zooming spheres is either with a pure tank threat machine drawing them all away from the gate (They still zoom like mad, but at least you all aren't being molested by the gate) or by speccing single target instead of multi target (load rapid fire instead of scatter volley, use DBB's instead of single beams, etc) and just take them out one at a time. Honestly, the spheres have been less of a problem then the newbies that have been in there blowing things early since LoR release, and the ragers that come with them. Honestly, guys, this happens every major release. Newbies come in that need to learn. Teach them instead of raging and we all have a better experience.

Exactly so. In my experience, if there's one player in a group that makes an stf uncompletable, it's the one who leaves early because he thought the match was uncompletable. Granted, you won't always get the optional, but unless it's going to take you more than an hour to finish, it's in your best interest to finish now and qq more later.

There is no way those spheres are supposed to be moving like that. Even if faster spheres are the new normal, the current speed is beyond silly.

But it is very annoying. ISE for example has become "Catch a sphere" . Like the 1shot torpedo, its an annoyance.
It should be fine... if we were tagging spheres for getting a sphere pet to raise, and not fighting with them.
For the first time they made sci needed in pve .Slowly people will know why pvpers say science class is so good.
The subnuc pvp I win button only works on one sphere at the time.
