Ultimate game card conversion bjork

Some how somewhere the conversion system is bjorked.

I paid 54.70 usd for my 50 game card went thru the redeem process and its valued at 52.10 leaving another 2.60 to pay which means it nonredeemable for the 5750 bonus...... wanna fix this please, pretty uncool

    Ummm. You do know that the bonus doesn't start until June the 1st PDT... And you posted 10 minutes before this...

    its 5pm plus here 1/06 :-P but i guess ill try it again post midnight but my guess the values are the issue cuase its telling me its 2.60 short

    yep still showing the ultimate card as a value of 52.10 even though i paid 54.70 for it

    Yeah, I redeemed a $50 card at 1:30 AM PST and it didn't credit the bonus, filed a ticket to let them know.

    Well...... I have a 30.00 game card and can't use it at all.

    Every time I try, the UGC checkout flashes on my screen briefly only to be quickly replaced by a Perfect World "oooopps" bad URL error screen.

    It just seems this company can't quite get anything right these days :(

    Okay so this is a scam ... I cant redeem my 50 dollar gamecard that cost me 54.70 aud and im being told i have to redeem it for less ie 30 dollars and the rest of the points will be converted into ultimate point which i will never efin use


    SERIOUSLY !!!

    okay so i found how to fix the conversion issue.. the system defaults to your local currency via your PW account when redeeming the code make sure in the right hand upper corner of the ultimate pay window you change it to USD

    but as has been previously been posted you only get 5300 zen not 5750

    Anyone run the gauntlet of dodgy websites well enough to know what place offers the cheapest per card? cause when i was looking they were all priced all over the place..

    You're sure about this? I'm looking at the PWE Zen purchase page for the Ultimate Game card, and it shows 5,000 + 750 for a $50 Ultimate card...

    I wonder if your problem might be caused by the Europe VAT issue... In the US/California, Virtual Currency purchase is considered a non-taxable item...

    I JUST tried it and didn't get my Add'l 15% Zen!! How do I fix this please?

    As with many it seems...I too did NOT get my 15% listed. It's plenty far enough past start time for PW to have addressed this. :(

    Edit: Thus I'm NOT transferring my zen into my STO game until they fix this.

    The extra payment is third party, meaning Ultimate Game Card themselves are charging you extra. That money's gone unless you give them their cut. That's probably a lot of the reason the bonus (that seems to be broken for me since I never got it) is in place.

    Actually they aren't charging extra, they just have a bjorked redemption system.

    As I previously posted when you go through the redemption process when you get to the pin page the ultimate pay system takes your pw default location and sets the payment conversion to that, but you aren't converting a payment you are redeeming a 50 usd card which you paid the full 50 usd for in your currency.

    So change your location in the top right corner to USA as you are redeeming the currency of the card which is 50 usd

    and presto you get 5300 zen not 5750 zen :-P which is the issue well so is the crappy redemption system to but hey 1 thing at a time

    same here. i purchased 4-25$ Ultimate game cards on the 30th of may. i did not redeem them till saturday june 1st after 3am eastern. I have 2 accounts on different computers. so 50$ on each account. it did me the same way. no extra zen. Got cheated out of 1500 zen total. I have a Crisp 100$ bill itching to throw it in STO, but will wait untill this is resolved.

    Yay, i should have known it would not be so easy.
    i buy a 50$ game card and thne can't redeem the thing for the ZEN amount i bought it for..
    This Euro. USD trick is not funny at all.

    Also got this problem... atm my code is worthless since STO wont let me redeem it cause of flunky currency tricks
