Direct X Fatal Error

Since the patch my game crashes sporadically a couple of times every few hours.

Yesterday it crashed 3 times and after the last two crashes I received a 'Fatal Error' message from Direct X; code: (E_OUTOFMEMORY).


I received the same message today after a crash, I was only on for 45 mins, I'm worried this could lead to over heating or cause permanent damage to my PC.

Every time I log in after a crash I have to wait 15-20 mins while the launcher verifies that patch is complete.


Can someone help me fix this??

    I get that error only when i try to beam to DS9 and ESD. PVE and episodes are not affected. It could be a bug in the game and yes the problem started after the expansion. Have you tried uninstalling the game and reinstalling it? I have not tried it yet but I have run the diagnostic and still has the same error.
