Kept crashing when the game loads up the Tiercel shuttle

After picking up the shuttle free token from a NPC, I went to the ship vendor to pick up the Tiercel shuttle. When it loads up the Tiercel shuttle model from the ship vendor, the game crashes, every single time.

So far, I did:

Restarted the computer
Force verify
Tried other ship vendors
Lowered the graphics to minimum as much as possible (coming from maximum settings)
Used the ship vendor filter

and I still crash, every single time. I can't even skip this mission so it's preventing me from progressing the romulan storyline.

It's getting me pretty frustrated. Is there a workaround to this problem?

i am experiencing the same thing very frustrating and cannot progress in the storyline either. guess we wait and hope it is fixed sooner rather than later lol.

I have similar problem purchased the T'Varo Retro then claimed it and renamed the ship then proceeded to the ship select. As soon as this ship is "hilighted" the game crashes every time. I proceeded to transwarp to Qo'Nos shipyard to try a different ship selector. I had same result. I then proceeded to sector space and headed to Eta Eradani sector. Upon transition I then crashed again and this time had a fatal error showing corrupted files indicating failure to read texture files... Now that character cannot enter the game without the same crash. I tried a different character same results. Utilizing an AMD 1100t 3.3ghz 6 core with 12 Gigs of ram as well as nvidia 560ti video card on Vista x64. Also ran perfectly before latest patch on 6/5/13
